Regardin the  accession, I'd like to have a more detailed description of their economic and political system before expressing my vote. Since they present a mix of capitalist and socialist traits, I want to understand if they truly adehere to ur basic principles and how they safeguard them, to avoid the risk that with a change of governement we end up with hostile capitalist nations in the Union.

Well, our economic policies vary from province. In a province, capitalism might be in place, but in another, socialism might be the rule of the land. Do you get what we are saying?

North is socialist, South is capitalist, but we have hosted a nationwide referendum, in which 68% of the vote said to join the SSU. Economic styles are not always a cause to join an organization, there are defensive and diplomatic reasons as well. Many capitalists voted for joining the SSU for either defensive(*hint* Eep, Ryccia *hint*) or diplomatic purposes. Since our army is smaller in comparison to our unstable neighbor, and we don't own a single nuclear weapon as they are banned compared to our unstable neighbor's arsenal(again, Ryccia) and we are a new republic that is looking to be known internationally for diplomatic relations and new allies, we thought that joining the SSU could be a shot at it.
