Ryccia has once again lambasted Qaweritoyu, telling it to "make slavery illegal again, or else there shall be grave consequences which it cannot afford"

Harmakmis and Gordista accepted the help of Ryccia and proceeded to release a statement that they believe 'slavery is immoral and anyone who practices it is no better an orangutan.' The two countries also passed two pieces of legislation:

1. A joint Harmakmis-Gordista embassy will be built in Ryccia if Ryccia accepts it. Ryccia is now considered an ally.
2. Qaweritoyu is an enemy of the state. All trade will be stopped; a naval/land blockade will be instituted; and any vessel, vehicle, and/or person of Qaweritoyu origin caught crossing the blockade will be fired upon.

The current state of the situation is Level Orange (almost war). All military is instructed to be on high alert and ready to mobilize at any moment. The half of active Gordistanian military is moving to Harmakmis (2.5 million), while the reserve force is being taken into active duty (39 million). All Harmakmian assets are on the move, as well as both country's navies.

President Davis had enough of the slavery drama today and banned all forms of slavery in the country, stating that although the Prime Minister is only keeping her promises, the grounds for the ban came from the fact that the Prime Minister hadn't got the President to approve the legislation first. She will be holding a very serious obligatory meeting for all Cabinet and Government staff later on in the day to discuss the role of the President in Qaweritoyu in 2018.

The Gianlucian Leader welcomes Davis' move to abolish slavery again, but criticised also: "Maybe President Davis needs to take a look at the Qaz constitution. Even the promise of slavery shouldn't be allowed and all human rights be ensured in a nation's constitution."

When asked about the Qaweritoyan President banning slavery in response to the physical blockade by Harmakmis, Gordista and suspected Ryccian naval vessels the President responded, “while the belated abolition of slavery by the Qaweritoyan official is good news, other countries shouldn’t prematurely escalate an issue by imposing military blockade without a casus belli.”

The Sedunnic navy has announced the names of the new amphibious transport docks, being constructed for commission in early 2019. The first ship shall be called the Aemmd ("the Confident", which shall also be the name of the class) and the second one shall be called the Nuksted, "the Unbroken", which are likely references to the Sedunnic national anthem.

Harmakmis and Gordista are planning on creating a new alliance, the Harm-Gord/Central Pacifica Alliance (HGA/CPA). They wish to have more stable alliances and to bring more security to the area, especially after the Harm-Gord Cold War. The summit will be held at a TBD location. Anyone can host it and join the summit. More details later.
