Bruuma has declared a state of emergency in New Orleansburg after the Gator Mathuska river has flood part of the city. The heavy rain of the previous days has swollen the river with water, fallen trees and debris, proving too much for the levee system to handle. The situation is expected to improve as the weather will clear out in the next days.
