As summer begins, warmer than average temperatures arrive in much of southern Süderia (southeastern continent). The region of southern Süderia, consisting of Fauderland, Sorbkraia, Dasko, and other areas in the southern half of the continent warm up during the summer, the recent wave of high temperatures is set to break records in many places. Outside of Düsselburg today, 34°C was recorded but with the humidity the feels like was closer to 40°C. Temperatures have been cooler by the coast with Nordstrand and Rügener seeing temperatures in the low 30s at most. Areas in higher elevations such as Horasel, Sorbkraia as well as Frösthafen, largest city in South Fauderland are expecting the mercury to be in the upper 20s. As the week progresses the humidity will increase and a chance for thunderstorms and rain for many areas. Due to the early stretch of high temperatures for an area that is one of the cooler regions in Pacific, being located quite far south. For much but not all of the region several days over 25° are rare.
The Transsunerian president Emil Palmann has said in different media that Transsuneria will move forward with the plans to drill for oil, but would be willing to discuss VENR investing in renewable energy to reduce his country's dependency on oil for electricity. He has also said that the oil belongs to the Transsunerians and that only Transsunerian companies should profit from it.
The Termina Trade Guild has received petitions from the city-states of Mipha and Rocomo Town to negotiate a possible sale of renewable technologies with Transsuneria. The Guild has remained silent thus far but have expressed hopes that Transsunerian interests in investing in renewable energy may lead to an eventual trade deal with the country.
Hani'ileki Gas representative Tanner Bytes and Biswell-Jordan Gas represenative and CEO Bill Jordan have both expressed interest in dealing with Transsunerian oil, while simultaneosly attempting to bar each other's respective companies. The case Bytes vs. Jordan will be heard by FiHami Parliament in the upcoming days to determine if either company has right to reach out to foreign entities for business.
The Transsunerian Chamber of Commerce has announced that it will host a trade fair to advertise business opportunities in the country, July 25-28. The trade fair will be sponsored by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade.

Several Gianlucian companies including the Gianlucische Bahn want to participate at the Transsunerian Trade Expo. "We know that country has potential and we want to help them to find a better path than they might want to take right now. We hope to be able to convince them of the quality of Gianlucian companies, products and standards", one of the managers of a smaller energy company stated to the press.
