The Frost Empire has agreed to assist the Transsunerian government safely dispose of hazardous ordinance left behind on the sunken RIM ships. A small flotilla of Frost minesweepers and other vessels were seen leaving Firen Harbor shortly after the Government decision.

89,000 protestors in Alterra City, the national capital, and the nation's second-largest city, Astria, have come out in protest calling for the Alterran Government to ratify the Grovne Conventions of the World Forum via popular vote referendum rather than a vote within the Federal Congress. The Supreme Court of Alterra is reportedly preparing to reach a decision over the issue after demonstrations and complaints outside the Supreme Court building.
The missing former advisor to the Prime Minister has turned up alive and well on the other side of the country.
Prime Minister Barrett has stated that she is slowly lowering herself back into office and continues to re-fashion Cabinet for the final year of her Administration. She has apologised for her slow speed on this re-fashioning but insists work on re-fashioning is ongoing and not at a standstill.

The Qaz World Forum Observer Referendum has concluded, presided over by Dr. Speaker Wallace. 56% have voted in favour, whilst 44% have voted against. Commenting on the Referendum result, Prime Minister Barrett stated that the Government position now is to follow through on their promise to the Incompetent Democrats and to get in contact with the World Forum and apply for observer status.
Supreme Court of Alterra reaches verdict, announcing that a vote on the ratification of the Grovne Conventions within the Federal Congress of Alterra is constitutional, democratic, and 'a more viable option as opposed to a nationwide referendum'. Alterra's Chief Justice of the Supreme Court was hit with a barrage of criticism, but President Anderson stated in a press conference that 'the Court's decision must and will be respected' and gave the green light for the ratification vote on the Conventions by the Federal Congress, currently slated for October 8.
The members of the citizens' assembly were chosen today. The assembly will come together on 16 October 2021 for the first time and consists of 150 Gianlucian citizens, men and women of all ethnic, social and financial backgrounds aged 14 to 85. They will decide on potentially fundamental changes to the Gianlucian state and constitution.
