The terror threat level raised to severe in Izaakia following the poisoning of N&GB Deputy PM Owen Walsh, and uncontrolled nuclear bombs in Ludville. President Blanc has granted special authorisation for special forces and intelligence units to use lethal force in foreign territories in order to prevent a direct attack on the United States of Izaakia or its citizens.

The right-wing Atlantic People's Party has announced, it successfully achieved there will be a referendum question regarding reaffirmation of the incorporation of Atlantis from 2011 in the upcoming constitutional referendum on 29 May 2022. The Ministry of Domestic Affairs has verified that claim to the press.

The Gianlucian Ministry of Foreign Affairs together with the Ministry of Atlantic Affairs has announced in a press statement, they are working on having independent foreign electoral observers present for the referendum. Official invitations for this were sent out to the Frost Empire, the VPRB, Sedunn, Snolland, Stoinia, Ryccia and the USI.

Latest rumours suggest President Elliott is about to block the ongoing General Election. The Presidence has yet to comment on this rumour.

The Higher Chamber has voted against the passage of the Religious Schools Act. The Lower Chamber voted for the passage of this Act in February. Higher Chamber MPs then went on to slam the Prime Minister for her progress since she took up Office in 2017. It is believed the Prime Minister will respond at a special sitting of the Lower Chamber in the morning.

Owen Walsh has died in hospital from being poisoned. A funeral will be held on the 20th of March.

The motion of no confidence was held last night. Only 135 Sænators (35,7%) expressed their confidence in the Prime Minister Dr. Erwitto Fircenza. He now has the ability to ask the President to dissolve the Sænat.

Imperial Frost Military observers returning to Reizen Province have praised the Stoinian and Sallodesian military on their successful joint exercise easing concerns within the Frost Empire on the capabilities of some of the Entente’s members. Meanwhile the Empire has agreed to dispatch a foreign delegation to observe the Atlantis referendum at the request of Gianlucan officials.

Stoinian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Tiberiu Mocanu has issued a few statements concerning recent evolutions in Northern Cordillia. The Minister stated that he hopes the rumours surrounding the Elfadan President are untrue and that democracy will not be obstructed. On that matter, he's confirmed that Stoinia will send electoral observers during the Gianlucian for the referendum.

The government of the United States of Izaakia has made several announcements.

1. Observers will be sent to observe the referendum in GI Land with the foreign minister saying, “Even though Izaakia-GI land relations are experiencing momentary tension, it is important that we support fellow democracies and the cause of democracy where ever it finds a foothold.”

2. The United States of Izaakia Intelligence Services, have offered the Government of N&GB intelligence cooperation in their counter terrorism struggle against the NGBSS, and has offered condolences to the people of N&GB for the loss of their deputy prime minister, calling him a martyr of democracy.

3. The Ministry of Defence have announced that a small electric diesel Leatherhead class submarine successfully observed the Stoinia and Sallodesia exercises without detection, passing within 100m of several ships, declaring the exercises a colossal success.
