IT'S FINALLY BACK! THE ANNUAL THE FOOTBALL WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS HOSTED BY THE TSP-RP FAMILY.

LET'S SEE WHO'S GONNA WIN THE FOOTBALL MATCHES!

As a tradition, the winner of last year's games shall host the championships. This year the men's 2022 game will be in the country of Snolland, while the women's game will be in Huawan.

The FWC this time is open to ALL CANONS, everyone is welcome

As always, the goal is to have a group stage with a knock-out stage following, but it shall depend on the number of participants in the competition. Also there will be a final round for teams out of men and out of women each for real now.

The system to determine the winner and score of each game that got used last time will perhaps be a bit similar like last year. There will be a communique about the rules below, credits to @Gi-Land for writing it up.

Comments and questions about the upcoming tournament are to be left here. The deadline for applications will be on the 20th of January. The women's tournament shall be held from Mid-January to mid-February. While the men's tournament will be held at a later date.

Feel free to proclaim your squad or write match commentaries this year in the IC thread that we'll be opening soon (when the groups get drawn) too!

rules

Every team has a dice (IRL dice) that gets rolled for their games.
For the home team 1-3 means no goal, 4-6 means they score. To determine the number of goals the dice gets rolled another time. The number that got rolled is the number of goals, except a 6 got rolled. Then the dice gets rolled once again. If a 1 or 6 gets rolled, the team scored 6 goals, if 2 then 7 goals, 3 = 8 goals, 4 = 9 goals, 5 = 10 goals.

For the away team it's the opposite. 1-3 means there's a goal-getting scored, 4-6 means no goal. The way to determine the number of goals stays the same.

In the knockout stage, there's extra time, when after two halves the game is at a draw. Each ET half gets rolled too, but now 1-4 means no goal and 5-6 means goal in the first half and 1-2 = goal and 3-6 = no goal respectively in the second half. 

If the game should still be a draw after 120 minutes, there'll be a penalty shootout. Each shot gets a dice roll. For all odd shots of the home team and all even shots for the away team applies the following rule: 1-3 = no goal, 4-6 = goal. It's the other way around for all even shots of the home team and all odd shots for the away team.
