Sit in Lazarus

I'd wait on withdrawing the Embassy until we're TP's intentions aren't just for liberation purposes. It could be that's all they're up to. It's still a little early to tell maybe?

I don't think it's for liberation purposes. This is a long-time game with the NPO.

Then yes, I can agree with your wisdom. I'll vote Aye (if the embassy withdrawl comes to vote)

GR suggests we keep the treaty since the formal alliance gives us more of a reason to support the PRL.

Kris has publicly stated he thinks we should withdraw the embassy from TP. I'd happy to do it, but I'd sooner do it under the argument that they fucked with our ally, as oppose to the omnipresent "game created regional sovereignty."

Can we take a vote on closing the TP Embassy, along with releasing the following statement.

Quote:The Cabinet of the South Pacific was both surprised and appalled by the NPO's claim to the region of Lazarus. This act has turned what might have been seen as an internal struggle into a blatant usurpation of power.

As such, the Cabinet of The South Pacific will be closing its embassy with The Pacific until such time that the NPO renounces its support for the illegitimate government in Lazarus. We would urge all freedom loving regions to do the same.

Aye from me for withdrawal (again a typo in para 1 - should be "seen", not "see").

I don't have an issue with one gcr claiming the government of another, it is part of the r/d game, I don't see why gcr's should be immune from this (even if I try to avoid it personally, more than aware it could well happen to TSP too, if we let our guard down). As we are allies with Lazarus and not the Pacific though, I do think removing our embassy is the way to go here.

Despite this being unpopular, I generally agree with this sentiment.

But great that we're in agreement regarding the embassy. Let's hear from Henn and I'll reach out to Pen and we can hopefully announce this by tonight.

How about the situation in Balder? We have an alliance with them and apparently they have dissolved their legislature too. I don't have time to check it out fully right now (overslept and running late for work), but do we need to do anything there?

Interesting times in NS land...

Aye.

Will I need to retract my RP Overseer and citizenship in TP?

(Half serious)
