The Ryccian Foreign Ministry has called Prime Minister Barrett a "psychopath". The Ryccian government has issued a warrant for her arrest on the grounds of attempted murder and human rights violations. "By introducing geronticide in her country, she could have threatened elderly Ryccian citizens living in Qaweritoyu, or any elderly Ryccian citizen in general", the government stated.

A team of journalists including ones from GIN and major newspaper outlets uncovered bank accounts of the Social Democratic Party abroad.
