Erinoran forces have been pushed further out of Ramica and are losing ground in the Serevan mountains, also. The government is said to be considering alternatives to the current strategy and many have seen that as a sign that the recent cabinet leak was on the money.

Volaworand Antarctic College protesters shut down a "Tropical" humanities lecture on yesterday as a 'Volaworand First' student group occupation of an administrative building entered the 5th day.  The group criticized Aumeltopia over the "disgusting conditions" in SPIT factories and called for the school to stop teaching what it called a “tropical” curriculum that is too focused on the ideas and accomplishments of Tropical colonists and their descendants.

The RDP expressed its vocal support for the Bafuto Serevai militia in Erinor and the Tigonese people occupied by Ryccia. RDP spokesperson said, “The Serevan people and Tigonese people of Sereva and Tigon respectively deserve to be free to pursue their own destinies. We urge the international community to condemn the tyranny of the Kensei Regime, Erinor and Ryccia, and support us in our respective struggles for freedom!”

In an effort to focus on more day-to-day domestic issues, even as the Serevan Crisis, which many are declaring a full civil war, rages on, the government is finally putting forward a bill to legalise same-sex marriage as well as proposing a looser Civil Union option for couples of both same-sex and opposite-sex pairings to give them greater protection under law without a marriage ceremony. It is expected that Syemarar Arutyarcad will oppose this bitterly as an attack on 'traditional Erinoran' values, but the government is still confident of a majority when it goes to vote.

Ryccia's legislature has passed rules that would allow bakers to refuse to make a cake if the message on said item was against their religious or core beliefs (for example, an order can be refused by a Christian if a slogan like "Support Gay Marriage" is included). However, they still cannot refuse service on the basis of religious belief alone.
