The Erinoran government has successfully passed its Marriage Equality and Civil Union bill, despite attempts to derail debate during the day by conservatives in the Syemarar Arutyarcad opposition. Ura'sio Jruniro Lama-Cyerwaro had planned to make a speech celebrating the victory, not just for Erinor's LGBT+ community, but for all 'friends of progress', but was forced to cancel and call an emergency meeting of the Mena Parlid to discuss the nation's response to the new revelations from Bruuma.

The Frost Empire strongly condemned the Bruuman regime for meddling in the domestic affairs of Erinor. The President also dismissed Ezervölgy and RDP concerns stating, "That while the sudden influx of prisoners was unexpected, the Empire will not stoop to the level of the RDP and commit its own extrajudicial killings."

In an interview for the Vilue, the Sedunnic king Vimmru said that the Sedunnic technical training delegation to the Erinoran Air Force will continue their mission to train and educate Erinoran pilots on the Sedunnic Hotvemm fighter system that was purchased in March. "We will of course keep our promises and complete the delivery of a fully functional and integrated air defence solution."

Prime Minister Dixon will be celebrating his retirement on Christmas Eve (24 December) in Alton City, the capital city of Qaweritoyu. The night will begin with presentations in the Parliament buildings. There will then be a meal in Alton City's top 5-star hotel, followed by music and dancing until near midnight. He has extended an invitation to this event to every other nation leader in the South Pacific and has said it would "be a real pleasure" to celebrate his retirement in their company.

After an emergency session that went on into the small hours of the morning, the Erinoran government has released a statement categorically condemning Bruuman involvement in Sereva and has demanded that the Bruuman authorities withdraw all Bruuman nationals from the island or face severe, yet unspecified, sanctions. A request for support in this has also been lodged with the World Forum, of which Erinor is not yet formally a member.

In a statement this afternoon, Erinoran Sityara of Foreign Affairs has politely requested that the Ryccians do not intervene militarily at this stage as doing so in this diplomatically frame situation might 'turn currently neutral Serevans against both the Ryccian forces and the Erinoran government, not to mention the possibility of the situation escalating towards war with Bruuma'.

The RDP firmly condemns the Ryccian decision to intervene in Erinor without the express permission of the local people. The RDP also praised the Bruumans, despite their differing political ideologies, for supporting the Bafuto Serevai militia in their struggle to liberate Sereva from Erinor.
