A further 938,552 cases of GID-20 have been confirmed in Qaweritoyu.

Campaigning for June 2020 continues. Prime Minister Barrett has promised to restore public ownership to electricity, gas, coal, water, railway, coal pollution mitigation, tidal, solar and offshore wind power. Tax Nobody Party Leader Lorraine Drake has promised to reduce Home Carer Credit to 0%. Incompetent Democratic Party Leader Stephen Spencer has promised to tax frequent walkers. The Conservative Coalition of Anserisa announced today that former Vice-Presidential candidate, Claudio Ménouarium is going to be leader of the Conservatives in the Council of Regions in the upcoming election, alongside actual leader of the Conservatives in the National Convention, Formoso Gochium.

The recent Referendum held on the legalisation of Abortion has failed. 48% voted for whilst 52% voted against, hence, Abortion remains illegal in the country. 

Former Speaker of Parliament Quincy Silva has commented on the recent discovery of the alteration of history in the nation as a disgrace. He also said he won't return to Parliament as a candidate for Speaker because he's "run out of fuel", he thinks it's time someone new came along and shone some light into the position.

Valoran rebels and Ryccian troops have clashed near the northern Ryccian special city of Likenbui. The rebels were pushed back, but frightened residents reported that they could briefly hear far-away artillery. The Ryccian government has promised to increase troop numbers in and around its special cities in the Valoran coast.
