On the Vice Delegate
#41

I think even if Pen were to reply today, she's not active at all and she's probably not going to be active any time soon.

What would be best for the region is for her to resign due to Real Life issues and time constraints. No one would blame her for that, her legacy would remain intact, and we wouldn't have to muddy our hands with a recall.

Look she has had to time to change and she hasn't. She was given a deadline to reach and she broke it. She can't do her job and therefor she shouldn't have the job. You all want to give her an honourable way out however if Pen does not say something by 22:00 EST or 3:00 BST I'm calling a recall. If you guys don't have the guts to do it I will.

I agree, Wolf. She has done nothing wrong and should leave her position honourably. There is no need to subject her to a recall unless absolutely necessary. I really hope she gets the time to post here as soon as possible.

I do agree however we can't give her forever so I will keep to my word and being a recall if she has not responded by 3:00 BST. Even if that makes me the bad one by recalling her. I hope I don't have to however someone will have to do it if she doesn't resign herself soon.

Oh, I was ignoring your post. I responded directly to Wolf. I think your attempts to impose a time limit are silly and a waste of Assembly time.

Wolf, as much as I politically disagree with him, nicely summed up my thoughts on this matter. Penguin should be given a chance to resign with dignity, as we all understand that her reasons are completely understandable, and are not her fault. If that is not possible then a recall will be necessary, unforfunately. These is no need to start being ridiculous with time limit threats and such, which in no way contribute anything of substance to this debate.

And no, I'm not responding to any post of yours that replies to this one. I'm sparing you the trouble.

I agree with you Kris. She has done nothing wrong. With her RL issues, its understandable. So Punch, please, no threats. She has RL issues. At least let her leave honorably.

No. This is politics you win or lose. I don't really care how she leaves just so long as she leaves. She has had plenty of time to resign or to change and become more active however she hasn't.

A time limit is not a waste of the Assembly's time, a waste of the Assembly's time is waiting for Penguin to respond. More than half of you hate me already so I really couldn't care less if I become the bad one here. The countdown is still ticking down and a recall will happen if she does not respond soon.

I'm sorry she has had RL issues however TSP needs an active VD and it needs one now. If she can leave honourably all the better if she can't too bad.

And Kris you are so nice not to respond to this, after all that wouldn't be polite would it?

Tsu, the longer the delay the more likely things spin away from the realm of decency so please expedite this issue.
