| The Genesis Initiative |
My dearest friends,
The Knightisian government proposes an initiative known as Genesis. The initiative was written due to the rising concerns of a new threat, for soon, a plague could hit our continent, and destroy all of our crops and seeds to extinction. We emphasise the importance of conserving our plants and seeds in an isolated gene bank, where they shall be kept, maintained and preserved. Be advised that this initiative would need member nations of the Southern Cooperation Organisation to rally up all plant species that are native to their country/continent, so that we may log them into this seed bank. Hammerstar has already conserved a couple of its signature seeds, and has preserved them in a compound inside Zephyr. Noctenos is very interested in such an initiative, and even though we are here only as observers, we shall assist in the collection of our own native plant species if necessary.

Ryccia, worried about this plague, will store its seeds in a seed bank. Farmers are advised to buy GMO seeds that are immune to diseases, or stronger at least.

Secretary of State Giovanni Giletti texted the Ryccian representative to tell the SCO members that Qvait would be joining the initiative.
"I have a concern about this project. Say we provide a hundred seeds of our signature coffee beans. What's to stop those who run the project from storing fifty of those and selling the rest? We are worried about certain fruits currently only growing in the Sanghelios Legion, their exports being a decent portion of our income, being produced elsewhere." Thom'dar said. "The Sanghelios Legion may join the initiative, but only if our concerns are alleviated."
We understand your concerns, for we too, have signature plants that at all costs, must not be grown outside of the Knightisian border. The whole process shall be overseen by a large group of individuals appointed by member nations to log and take care of these seeds. Since this is an international oversight, the possibility for one to transport a portion of the seeds for economical benefit is quite small. Furthermore, the seeds transported shall be treated in a secure method.
