Rumour has it that, after hearing of the Venterran incursion into Cornucopia, the Ryccian ambassador in Sinaia has requested to be recalled due to her fear of a war that could reach the Stoinian capital world. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has refused to confirm these allegations.

The Imperial Ministry of the Interior has taken the National Review's hostile journalists into custody after the local district police chief, a nationalist, refused to enforce a court order for arrest issued for their attacks on the Stoinian ambassador. The police chief in question has been arrested as well for insubordination against the national government.

The Kontauri Ascendancy has initiated the political discourse to give Kontauri females voting rights. The population is in uproar and major protest marches have taken place across the whole planet. Surprisingly, most Kontauri females agree with the protest as a polling resulted in 92,4% of Kontauri women against such rights. Major Legate Lucius Avitus Aetius has stated the following: "The Kontauri are a very traditional people. Especially their women who follow extensive rules for etiquette. If it wasn't for their duelling prowess, they would long have been exterminated. Maybe the Ko'ghyal would have been a more reliable race than the Kontauri? Who really knows with these xenos... They don't belong in our Kingdom if you ask me! Terrans first! As it should be!"

Commodore Yaar's Squadron of the Joint Stoinian-Treecuu Exploration Fleet has reported back to Yim-Lootuu with news considering her mission. "Preliminary reports and scans 5 lightyears from the borders of the Bicaan Mandate have shown increased background activity. Similar readings to Ryccian hyperspace travel have also been noted. We suspect that another star nation may border the Empire northwest to the Bicaan Mandate. At this stage it still isn't clear if they are a nomadic barbarian race or not. We can't rule out any such possibility. Governor Looth has been notified and has mobilized a few squadrons of the Mandate Fleet to support us if necessary. My Squadron will begin to initiate first contact protocols in the comming days. Let's hope this goes as planned, else they will face the Shield and Sword of the Empire!"

(23/06/1620 PD) The second round of the Stoinian Chancellery elections have begun all over the Star Kingdom. Incumbent Chancellor Sheridan is facing challenger Ryan Adams, a Congressman from Irillia within the Tozorian Corridor. Many speculate this election will be a historical one as Adams has vowed to take a harsher stance on foreign relations.
Ryan Adams has been quoted stating the following during his campaigning: "If I get elected into office, my first act will be to withdraw from any treaties signed by the xeno-loving government! The Joint Exploratory Fleet will be abolished at once and its resources diverted to Terran interests!"
Pollings show a slim margin victory for the challenger, but as of yet is too early to call.

Chancellery Elections Update: Incumbent Chancellor Sheridan is narrowing to Adams according to the polls. Planets have already begun to count the votes and show a very tight race between the two candidates. Both parties have reaffirmed their belief that they will win the election in public statements.
Ryan Adams: "Clearly this is because the Core's votes have been counted earlier! Soon we'll see that the outer colonies will decide who truly becomes Chancellor."
John P. Sheridan: "I think we all know it's too early to call or even make a reasonable statement about the election. We'll have to wait and see, but I firmly believe the Stoinian people will agree with the path the current administration has taken."

Chancellery Elections Update: The race is still too close too call. More and more votes have been accounted for, but incumbent Chancellor Sheridan has gained the lead from challenger Ryan Adams. Chancellery Elections Update: Incumbent Chancellor Sheridan's lead has narrowed to just 150.000 votes! The last 25 million votes are being counted as of yet and will decide the next Chancellor.
All Stoinian expat votes have been counted and show a resounding support for Sheridan with 99,8% of the votes going to him.

Breaking News: Chancellor Sheridan has been defeated by challenger Ryan Adams who has just been declared victor by the Electoral Vote. Chancellor-Elect will be inaugurated in two weeks and announced that he will give a speech in half an hour on Tozoria.
