Prince Aurelian has returned within Stoinian space from Operation Farsight in the Tiyanki Territories and has taken command of Wrath Squadron. However, he has returned with a Flotilla's worth of ships from the Kezimite Kingdom and the Dunedari Free-Standings. It is expected that the Prince of Bloemfontein will join his older brother in the Stoinian war efforts against the Venterran Incursion.

Despite declaring both chambers of the legislature dissolved, the remnant Imperial Congress has opted to defy the Emperor's decree of dissolution. In response, the Emperor has ordered the Congress building to be placed under siege. The Emperor himself is leading the operation from the ground.

The remnant Congress has declared the Emperor deposed and has formed a "National Salvation Front", declaring themselves the true leaders of the Empire, and that they shall look for a "distant relative" of the inner royal clan to succeed the Emperor. Deputy Speaker Eliza Vonborgen has been declared Regent of the Empire. No military nor civil officials of high rank have recognized this new rival government.

High Legate Edmond Sallow has closed off Sinclair Tower following the siege of Congress. While he had previously voiced his sympathies for the Emperor, he strongly questions his current actions. The High Legate has called for all Ryccian political factions involved in the civil unrest to end the on-going charade stating: "It's with a heavy heart that Stoinia must see the situation in the Ryccian Empire escalate. We call to all involved parties to set aside their differences and get the nation back on track. If the Stoinian Star Kingdom can have a more stable system of governance than the Empire in your current predicament, it's a clear sign things ought to categorically change."

Venterran intelligence has been made aware of the existence of the “Ryccian empire” after intercepting stoinian news broadcasts. No efforts have been made to look for this “empire” but the Venterran Appraisal fleet has been tasked with learning more about Ryccia from captured pows or civilians lucky enough to be taken prisoner.

Zelvan authorities on Fendar report the detection of signals consistent with the asymmetrical collapse of a large gravitationally rounded object, such as a planet, coming from within Treecuu space. According to the report, the event that caused the emission of the signals must have taken place at least 30 standard years ago, since the signals travel at the speed of light, and the distance is 30 light years to the Zelvan-Treecuu border. It is speculated that the cause was artificial. There are no reports from the Treecuu Star Empire.
