"Several currencies exist in the Star Empire, but only one - the Uut - is valid in all systems, according to the Central Laws. Only citizens of the Star Empire are allowed to use it, and units of Uut may not leave the Star Empire.
The Senate will debate whether to change this law, or introduce an alternate system. In the meantime, I suggest we rely on barter. Perhaps we can establish an official exchange system based on what our respective experts decide common goods are worth?"
