Alright ladies and gentlemen,
the moment will come very soon that we can take a look at the historic FWCs. The current plan is to publish the work after the FWC 2019. The document (or documents, I'm not sure yet) will consist of all games, winners, hosts and some very interesting statistics of the FWC since 1956. It includes all historic FWCs and WFWCs and also the ones we played out here on the forum (2017, 2018, 2019) and will get updated every year after the next FWC/WFWC! Now due to wanting to make stuff easier for us, but also to give other nations of TSP the possibility to be part of this project, that maybe haven't heard of this project up until now, we used in some tournaments placeholder nations - up to five at a time. THIS IS YOUR CHANCE (once again)! If you haven't applied yet or couldn't, you can still do it now until tomorrow (Wednesday, 5th June 2019, 12 pm Central European Summer Time). Please just post your nation and choose which of these placeholders would fit into your history (you may choose multiple; it's on purpose that historic results for them aren't shown here  ):P1 - Took part in 7 FWCs (1988, 1996, 2000, 2004, 2008, 2012, 2016) and 5 WFWCs (1990, 1994, 1998, 2002, 2014). P2 - Took part in 6 FWCs (1996, 2000, 2004, 2008, 2012, 2016) and 4 WFWCs (1990, 1994, 1998, 2014). P3 - Took part in 5 FWCs (1996, 2000, 2004, 2008, 2012) and 4 WFWCs (1990, 1994, 1998, 2014). P4 - Took part in 3 FWCs (1996, 2008, 2012) and 1 WFWC (2014). P5 - Took part in 1 FWC (1996) and 1 WFWC (2014). The applications will get collected for each placeholder and then it gets drawn by us for each placeholder, who may represent it. If not enough applications come together here (at the very least 5, for each placeholder one), I'll move the application over to the RMB, giving people there the chance to apply also  If after that there's still a too small number of applications, I'll ask here again etc. Thanks for helping us pushing this project to become reality and building up one more big piece of canon TSP-history

The reason is, that we otherwise need to simulate ALL tournaments once again and all the progress we made up until now, including the statistics, would be null otherwise.
