[FILM]

Fri Hani Episode 2 released, many claiming the docuseries' producers to be "Antarchi Apologists".

By T'Ai Hankani

Many FiHamians have taken to social media to complain about episode 2 of Fri Hani, which covered the treatment of the first Antarchi settlers who landed around 1500-1600, according to current estimates.

The film begins with a scene along a beach, set around the time that the Antarchi first landed on the Finixian Isles. It shows a group of Native Finixians fishing, then spotting the large ship quickly approaching the isles. The group of fishers run into the jungle, then arrive with the chief, as the ship lands. The Antarchi are shown to disembark sick, tired, and injured. The captain is shown to disembark last, then attempts to open communication. The chief is shown to stare confused, backs away, then barks orders to help the wounded.

"Of course, we don't know how the initial encounter went, whether it was friendly or whether it was more hostile, or tense. The fact is, both sides have different accounts of what happened. Antarchi folklore claims that the Native Finixians and their chief "Feerick" tried to attack the weary soldiers. Finixian folklore tells that Chief Fi'Rik' personally attempted to help as many as they could as soon as they landed." Film Writer Kerry James said when questioned about the opening scene.

"Lets be honest. Both sides are very likely an exaggeration. Without actual record telling what happened, we won't ever know." Film Producer Shikane Joseph said.

Episode 3 of 10 will air next Friday.

[UPDATE]

Two Dead, One Injured From Terror Attack

Two Security Guards have been found dead in the rubble from the terror attack. One was found injured, and has been transported to Hospital Ki Hani for treatment.

Investigations of the area and interrogations show that Michael James (23) and Harris Keller (26) placed an explosive trap to "show that the Parliament is an awful idea and that we should return to the old regime".

Rising sentiments across FiHami echo the same sentiments behind the attack. Ha'Coron' Finix, Speaker Benjamin Owens, and Parliament are going to have to prove that they can heal the country soon to maintain Finixian favor.

Large groups of protestors have swarmed the capital of FiHami today, demanding that Ha'Coron' Finix either solves the economic and terroristic crisis or disband parliament and step down for someone else "more competent" to take over.

"The problems are ridiculous. Prices are soaring. My forge was shut down because I had to continue raising prices and lost a ton of customers. On top of that, I can't let my kids have fun because of the ever-present threat of an Antarch rebellion. And now the new 'New Finixian' movement trying to happen too?" Local Blacksmith Fateke kistal told Ha'Hani Times Post.

"Deep wounds do not heal overnight. They take time and attention to heal. I assure you, Owens and I are working very hard to amend the issues we can fix. I promise you, we are doing our part. I would like to ask everyone to please remain patient, and don't lose hope!" Ha'Coron' Finix posted online on Haniweb this morning.

Economic Plan Passed Amidst Mass Protest

The Ha'Coron' has approved of a 3 year plan to revive the economy this morning.

The plan includes investing heavily in Fisheries and Tourism, while scaling back support for other industries and raising taxes. Parliament passed the bill with a 98% majority, and was signed. Citizens, however, are divided, with a 53% majority in favor.

"I understand a lot of people are divided on the policy. I just want to assure that the extra taxes will go to everyone, in the form of promoting tourism in FiHami and ensuring high quality seafood products, which are the largest money makers we have. I would even reckon that prices will drop within the first year of the plan." Pakine Tutupele (I) stated.

"I approve of this plan, as long as the tax raise isn't permanent. Which I will make sure it isn't." Speaker Benjamin Owens said. Protestors reportedly threw panani fruits angrily after Owens issued the statement.

When questioned about the chaos present in the country, Ha'Coron' Finix reportedly sighed at the interviewers before walking away.

"I didn't expect to be here in the first place. But duty calls for it, so I have to fix this mess. It's a challenge, sure. But I think we are finally on track. I can almost rest assured that I will live to see us prosper." The Chief finally responded before storming into her reconstructed hut with groceries, declining further interview.

"I never thought our new government would betray us like this. I don't see how this [redacted] will help us." A person who wished to remain anonymous told the Ha'Hani Times Post. "From one oppression to another."

"I don't approve of Tourism, honestly. We'll find ourselves swarmed with foreigners in no time, and our beautiful country will be yet another environmental disaster." Lile Kanopi'i Told the Ha'Hani Times Post.

The implications of the new policy will soon reveal whether it was truly a good plan or not.

According to witnesses at the event, Ha'Coron' Finix instantly turned around and attacked the man, knocking him to the ground. Goodwill hit his head against the ground too hard, however, and required immediate medical assistance.

"Goodwill failed to hit me where he intended to, and I'm grateful for that. I wish Goodwill a speedy recovery. Someone let him know that I'm keeping the dagger though. It's going to be mounted to the wall as soon as I get it removed." Ha'Coron' Finix told news reporters on her way to the hospital.
