Fihamians are saddened today when the scheduled fireworks show backfired.

No one was injured physically, but many were injured spiritually.

-New archeological excavations have unearthed a wreakage that is theorized to be the first ship that landed on the FiHamian Archipelago between 4,000 and 3,500 B.C.E. as well as the potential 1st camp the early Finixians lived in.

"We found an unusual mound of foreign wood buried in sand, as well as some early tools and what we believe to be ceremonial ceramic cups." Lead archeologist Dr. Ha'in Kokostali stated. "Of course, we need to do more testing to confirm this but we strongly suspect that this area may be the forst landing point."

-Parliament has passed a series of bills that were signed into law.
  • Healthcare Act of 2019- Ofi Ki Hani, an independant organization dedicated to providing money for medical emergencies, has been accepted as a "health insurance" for the nation. The organization will continue to rely on donations, but will now have government backing as well as a restructuring of policies and establishment of an emergency fund.
  • Education for All Act of 2019- Establishment of a public education system and a school board in order to oversee public education. The University of Ha'Hani will remain independant of the Education for All act.
  • Majority Act of 2019- The legal age to be considered independant has been raised to 20. FiHamians under this age will not be permitted to become independant. In cases where children are removed from their legal guardians, they will be considered dependants of the state unless they're adopted. For the case of public office, the minimum age to be allowed to hold office is 25. Alcohol consumption is illegal until 25.
  • Suicide Act of 2019- Law enforcement may now break trespassing laws if a person is suspected to be planning to commit suicide in order to provide emergency mental health services to the person.
  • Adoption Act of 2019- Adoption services are now required to perform background checks of potential families before the adoption is to take place.

-Upon passage of the Majority Act of 2019, an exception has been made for the Ha'Coron' of FiHami. She will be allowed to continue to serve. However, she is considered a dependant of the state.

"It's a strange situation to be in when everyone is arguing about your well-being in front of you without asking what you wanted, despite technically having the most power in the room. But as this situation is important to set precedence for, I'm not gonna protest the decision. I agree that it's been made wisely and with the future's best interests in mind... I just hate the idea of going back to the orphanage." Ha'Coron' Finix had posted on Haniweb following the passage of the bill. Eti Nanakupe, 42, has reached out to the Ha'Coron' to propose to adopt her to "avoid the orphamages", to which Finix had promptly agreed.

Comedians have already started making jokes about the situation.

After various letters complaining about the rule, it has been decided by parliament that currently independant minors will be allowed to stay independant if they are either 18 or older, work in a government position, have signed consent from their legal guardian, or have approval from government. Current citizens who are independant but under the age of majority will have instant government approval.

The longest day of the year was a birthday celebration for Ha'Coron' Finix Fi'Shi, who turned 17 this year.

However, the guest of honor seems to have disappeared yet again.

It is unknown whether the highly respected leader of FiHami has merely gone off on her own or if she was taken by force.

Kilaui Kuri, who is the temporary Parliamentary speaker, has stated, "Don't worry about Finix guys, she tends to wander off on her own occasionally. The sign to panic will be after a couple days. If she hasn't come back then, theres a problem. She has told me yesterday that she was 'itching for a hike' so... I wouldn't worry."

Investigators are searching the Ha'Coron's home and office for any clues.

Ha'Coron' Finix has returned, reportedly asked "Didn't anyone see the note?" to investigators, looked in her pocket, then apologized to the nation. She has reportedly harvested seeds of a plant that had been thought of as extinct. The University of Ha'Hani has accepted half the harvest for scientific study.

Ha'Hani Times Post is proud to bring a live stream of the conference concerning the rising Antarchi threat in FiHami.

Reporter Fari Ta (HHTP): I am Fari Ta, and you're watching the livestream conference.  I am with Parliamentary Speaker Benjamin Owens before the official start of the conference.  So tell me, Ben.  How are you doing?

Parliamentary Speaker Benjamin Owens: Thanks Fari, I'm doing just fine.

Reporter Fari Ta (HHTP): Glad to hear.  Now, I would like to ask about the messages.  What do you think about the messages?

P.S. Benjamin Owens: I think it's annoying how these messages of hate are being spouted by the same group.  It's cowardly to hide behind a screen.  I would like to suggest that Ha'Coron' Finix declares war on these people.

Reporter Fari Ta (HHTP): Thank you so much for your time, mr. Owens.

P.S. Benjamin Owens: Thank you, Mr. Fari.

The conference will begin at 18:00 local time.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW FROM THE CONFERENCE:

-The purpose of the online threats has been deemed to be to stir fear.

-Ha'Coron' Finix wishes to deal with the perpetrators swiftly and justly.

-Dr. Eti Nanakupe and General Ofiret Kaikan both suggested to authorize a thorough search of FiHami territory to find the "sick idiots" who posted the threats.

-At 19:43 local time, 3 explosions abruptly stopped the conference. 45 attendees have been declared dead and 112 missing. Amongst the missing are 3 of 4 speakers. 27 are hospitalized for injuries.

-Parliament unanimously declared the explosions a "terrorist act" and have authorized the newly formed Haniki Kaikofiri, or HK (Special forces), to launch an investigation using any means necessary.
