Update

Former team member of the late Tracey Holmes Eni Jones has announced that she will be quitting football forever for "basically murder".

"She didn't admit it in her note but I basically killed her. I was upset at all the messed up plays we did today, I took out my frustration at her. I yelled at poor Tracey. I deserve all punishment to come. I got too obsessed with the game, I got too strict, and it cost all the fun for many people. It cost a life."

"Our national team has lost 2 great players now. 2 players that won't play ever again. We can learn from this to be better for next year though. FiHami's first Football league will start soon in December, the four teams for four cities have come together. We will dedicate the first match of the season to Jones and Holmes." Coach Sineh Kayuka of the Women's team announced.

FiHami has went from radical celebrations to deep mourning following announcement of Holmes' suicide.

There will be a memorial service this Saturday. She will be cremated Sunday.

Tracey Holmes, born Trasi'i Hanukipalei, was born in Kipalali village January 30th, 1995. She was captured, renamed, and enslaved in 2008, and released 2017. She began her sports career shortly after. She died May 30th, 2019, age 24.

Despite the craziness, The Empress has authorized parliamentary elections to continue. There will be 30 seats in the lower chamber and 20 seats in the upper chamber. The Parliamentary Speaker position will be elected by the people as well.

Kilaui Kuri (I)- "As Parliamentary Speaker, I will make sure to move FiHami forward. I want to ensure that policies that help the people move into a better age get passed. I want to help FiHami become technology saavy, open trade with other nations, and help the economy grow strong."

Kane Tucker (S)- "We have had enough of the religious nuttiness in this country. I want to ensure that we move forward and embrace knowledge, for that, not some falcon, will help FiHami. We will become a technological and scientific powerhouse!"

Benjamin Owens (I)- "FiHami products need to be much stronger contendors for a global stage if we want to survive. I will ensure that both parliamentary houses are on board with my vision for a greater FiHami."

Phillip Hammond (PL)- "The only solution is to open doors to all nations and abolish the idea of a state. We are all 1 nation!"

Jared King (O)- "Opening ourselves to foreigners is what hurt native Finixians so much. We need to close ourselves off. Allow our 'Empress' to regain control as Chief, like before all the craziness. That's the only way for FiHami."

Ter'i Maunatua (E)- "Progressing as a nation is good and all, but we need to make sure that we are keeping an eye on our impact on nature. I will make sure that we write laws that will protect FiHami wilderness. I'm thinking national parks and awareness days."

For the seats in the Chambers, a total of 300 candidates have announced that they would be on tje ballot. Party percentages are as follows:
30%- I
5%- O
20%- PL
20%- S
25%- E

Elections are next Thursday.

The decision to establish a Parliament has been questioned by many. The Empress said today,

"The idea for the Parliament is to make sure that FiHami problems are being properly discussed and decisions can be made that the majority is in agreeance with. It will also help me know how to represent FiHami abroad."

Empress Finix the Holy has been medically cleared, demanded her name be changed back to Empress Finix the Unknown, and set the long awaited trial for next week, after parliament has been sworn in.

"First off, who the [redacted] decided to declare me holy of all things?!? Wait until I actually do something divine before you declare me holy geez... As for the trial, I wish to establish parliament as the jury for the national cases beyond the scope of smaller city courts, such as this trial. That is my mind for this matter."

The election is set for next thursday, and the new parliament will be sworn in the following day. The trial will begin following the event.

Racial tensions have been seeing a resurgence in late days. Native Finixians have been forced into Ha'Hani and Tikiri'i while the foreign born citizens have claimed Huah-Huah and Teti' and forcing native Finixians out. Many foreign citizens have moved to Teti' and Huah-Huah.

"This is ridiculous guys." The Empress has stated for Ha'Hani Times Post today. "We are a unified nation. We need to move past the past and work together rather than divide. For the good of FiHami."

Brett Smith, foreign-born citizen of FiHami and known foreign supremacist, has stated "These birds need to be taught a lesson. They think that their little revolution was successful? I'll give them a proper revolution. We enslave them and make them do the jobs that they should do! Emperor [redacted] was correct to kill them."

"These [redacted] need to get off FiHami grounds if they don't like us so much!" Exclaims parliament candidate Tanu'e Kurikuri.

On top of the current tensions, a video titled "Too Many Finixians in my Waterpark" has gone massively viral to the dismay of many in FiHami. The video is a parody song clip that basically calls for genocide.

-The late Tracey Holmes, the 14 deceased victims of the kidnappings, and many other dead from the Phonioxtopian Revolution and before where honored tonight before the festivities commenced in Raisi, Huah-Huah. After the memorial, many gathered to watch the Kokostali'ifi twins perform the traditional Kiko Ra-Turantan, who recieved many cheers and applause from over 300,000 people. After the traditional dance, various groups performed many traditional-style songs, some gave songs a modern take. At the end of the night, all the groups played an unforgetable rendition of "Fri, Fri, Fri Hani".

Glaring racial tensions were obvious, with the clear separation between Finixians and tourists, and the foreign-born. A fight reportedly broke out between Tristen Paine and Pa'ini Hopariku, 24 and 14 respectively. Paine reportedly smashed a glass bottle over Hopariku's head then proceeded to attempt to strangle him. Police quickly intervened and arrested Paine. Hopariku was reportedly shaken by the event, but is mostly unharmed. His parents, Ishi and Gale Hopariku, are reportedly calling for "justice to be served".

-Holmes' memorial service earlier today was a grim reminder of many problems in FiHami. Many people showed up to pay their respects to the late Football star. Empress Finix the Unknown gave a speech at the service that was well recieved by most.

-A shocking animated clip has made its rounds across the internet titled: "Look at me I'm a Finixian". The clip involves a crudely drawn stereotypical Finixian drinking alcohol, dancing around a fire, then commiting suicide. At the end of the video, the screen reads "Do the Finixians a favor", then depicts a white man killing many Finixian charicatures. Unsurprisingly, the video has offended many people. The Empress, in a post on Haniweb, said

"These videos aren't funny. The video is clearly mocking people of native Finixian descent. Many are hurt and disgusted by the sentiments in this video. And this call to violence is all we need to make this a punishable offense. Whoever posted the video will be punished severely!"

As of right now, the creator of the video is unknown.

-FiHami's first football league is hosting tryouts over all of next week in all 4 major cities. All people are encouraged to come out and and play. Those who played in the FWC this year will play in their respective city teams.

-Empress Finix the Unknown signed away many square kilometers of land to establish 5 national parks. FiHami's West Island will hold 3 national parks accessible by ferry, and 2 on the East Island.
Park 1- Kilaweioni Reef National Park, encompassing the Kilaweioni Clan Tribal lands to the north on the West island, circling around the reef to the edge of international waters.
Park 2- Fi'Shi-Kanakawei Hani National Park, in the center of the west island, containing the Fi'Shi and Kanakawei tribal grounds and trails.
Park 3- Kokostali-Hopariku Hani National Park, towards the south of the West Island, will encompass the best-preserved tribal grounds for the Kokostali and Hopariku ancestral tribes.
Park 4- Ri-Ha'Fi-nix Volcano National Park, in the uninhabited areas surrounding Ri-Ha'Fi-nix outside of Ha'Hani city limits.
Park 5- Kakonoke Shores National Park, an important nesting site for many endangered marine wildlife, birds, and many other creatures.

"These 5 areas have been set aside for historical significance and natural beauty. The 3 remaining camp sites, Kakonoke Shores, and Ri-Ha'Fi-nix have much historical significance and aren't part of any city's jurisdiction. Turning them into national parks will help us set aside funds to preserve these areas for future generations." The Empress said to Ha'Hani Times Post.

-Massive protests since the authorization of a public airport in FiHami was approved earlier today has blocked all traffic from Tikiri Street to Capital Avenue in Ha'Hani.

-Tikiri'i Primary School went on lockdown due to bomb threat. The man who posted the threat online has been caught amd arrested. Timothy McGale, age 32, posted,
"Snowbird kids stay home today, I'm gonna fix all of @tikiriiprimaryschool 's problems"
on Haniweb around 7:23am local time today. Luckily, McGale didn't even make it to the campus before law enforcement arrested him.

-The new FiHamian band Stoned Fire has announced that they will be going on a world tour. Tickets for Raisi venue go live next week.
They are the first FiHami-born band to embark on a world tour.

-Teti' and Huah-Huah has officially drawn out territory and has declared themselves independant of FiHami rule. Corbin White declared himself "Emperor of North Antarch" and declared Teti' as their capital, now called "Chardburg".

Empress Finix the Unknown has not responded to the self-Proclaimed Emperor, but has called a military draft.

North Antarch has reportedly already begun rounding up people of Finixian descent and begun executing them.

-Celebrations have come to a halt as Huah-Huah has been captured and Raisi has been blocked off from entry.

-Plans to remodel the Emperor's estate and Palace has been finalized. The Estate had been burned to the ground, and a small hut built by Empress Finix had taken it's place close to the Palace itself. The Palace still stands, but has suffered heavy damage.

"The historic palace should be restored once again. Thanks to the memories of the elders, plans as accurate as possible have been drawn up." Architect Ha'ime Ro'arse has stated. "I've worked closely with someone who still remembers the old chief's house structure. All we need now is to clear what used to be the South Wing then we can construct the new Palace."

"I want to establish Parliament's building out of the North Wing. I also am planning on Pa'Kapita to be extended, make way for an actual courthouse, some other offices for departments and counsils I want to authorize, remodel the fire brigade's building, the law enforcement station, and increase accessibility to the Hospital of Hani's Ha'Hani campus." The Empress has told the Ha'Hani Times Post.

-Refugees from Antarch-controlled territories have arrived at Tikiri'i and Ha'Hani earlier. Some were killed by Antarch forces. Victims told Ha'Hani Times Post horrifying stories of attempts to escape. Families have been permanently separated. Many of Finixian descent have criticized the Empress' statement regarding the situation, claiming that it wasn't harsh enough.

"The Great Phoenix was with me today, I somehow avoided their bullets while I was escaping. My mother and little brother weren't so lucky. The snowbirds are cold hearted bunch. We should skip peace and just eradicate them here and now like we should have done hundreds of years ago." Cries a young girl who wished to remain anonymous.

Corbin White responded to the Empress' warning:
"I have an army of at least 356,000 members. You have a population of about 30,000 and some stupid bird that doesn't exist. You may wish to restore your people to their savagery but lets face it. Antarch is the future. Surrender to your slaughter now."

The Empress has released a televised video statement after Antarch forces have ransacked Tikiri'i that has been brodcasted on television networks and shared on social media. Many Finixians have stated shock and fear following the message. But seemingly all Finixians have shown full support of the sentiments in the video.
