I am confused |
So, I have a few questions, and I'll number them for convenience.
Heyo!!! I'll answer to the best of my ability, someone else can correct me if I'm incorrect.
1. so, we have a few different options as far as roleplay. The main canon is our modern-tech world where you can roleplay as your nation. 2. as far as mystical/magic stuff goes in the main canon, not really. You can have myths, I've stretched the possibility with perfectly-timed coincidences, but otherwise, not really. However, you could help us develop Aurora, which would have elements of magic and such. 3. Yes! You are able to claim up to 3 plots on our regional map, which can be 3 different countries. 4. Ummm not quite sure, that isn't really done afaik... 5. No, we don't really use NS stats in building our world. You can decide your own stats based on your country's culture you decide to have, and what's realistic on the plot you chose etc. 6. No, never too many questions! 7. :birdpats:

1) Next to our canon MT-rp, where you play as up to three nations (see 3)), there's also a FT/Sci-Fi-rp (A1-0) that's, as far as I can see, more or less as active as the MT-rp even. There you play as one nation only though and there are stricter rules to some extent, so nobody is able to play God. 3) While you are able to claim three plots, it's recommended to start with one and get used to TSP-rp, because if you totally dislike our rp or don't want to participate in it, but block three plots, this would be....not nice. Please also keep in mind that you need three separate TSP-nations - one for each plot, even if one or two plots should belong to the main region or are colonies of the main country. 4)Normally other NS-regions and states are considered non-canon, such you wouldn't mention them. There are cases however, where people refer to countries that are non-canon for their rp, but that's something I wouldn't recommend, as it makes you less credible in your rp. 5) We don't use NS-stats and what's going on in the World Assembly or during Delegate-votes or whatever is more or less insignificant to you, if you really just want to rp here and don't do anything else or get involved in the politics of the region. 6) Nah, better be safe than sorry. It's good you ask these questions! 7) A for effort Nah, it was a funny ending indeed ^^

Thank you very much, both of you! I would probably like to join Aurora, then. How would I go about it?
Are you on the RP discord server? We're still developing the thing, but we'll get it figured out soon, hopefully! You could even help us!

The origin of my country is that my people (in the far distant past) were sailors/refugees from a country in the East Pacific who traveled to a then-unclaimed island in the South Pacific. I don't think this is going to come up much in modern roleplay, but it simply wouldn't make much sense for them to be refugees from simply the country currently next door. However, I do want to make this credible in terms of the rp here. So any help/advice would be appreciated.

The basic point is that for the purposes of roleplay "the South Pacific" is not one of many regions, instead all countries in the region that have filled out a map application exist in a planet called Pacifica. In other words, countries in the region roleplay in their own, self-confined world, where no other regions (the East Pacific, 10000 Islands, etc.) exist. Former Delegate of the South Pacific

By "East Pacific", do you mean the NS region or the eastern half of the Pacific ocean on real-life Earth, like maybe Hawaii?
