Accession of the Confederacy of Livana

Honourable delegates, before we proceed with the leaders debates, I believe it is prudent to complete the pending business of the application by Livana to become a member of the World Forum.

Two-letter country code: LV
Three-letter country code: LIV
Head of state: President Peter Trenton
Head of government: Prime Minister Gertrude Alston
Potential World Forum representative: Hon. Jamison Alby
Proposed status of state in World Forum: Member

Article III, Section A, Paragraph 2 states that to become a member of the WF, an applicant requires a two-thirds majority in a vote on their accession by members of the assembly. 

The period of voting will end on Friday 06 Aug 2021 at 20:00 GMT. You may vote for or against the accession or you may abstain.

The Assembly of the World Forum has unanimously approved the accession of the Confederacy of Livana by a margin of 4-0-0. 

I would thefore like to welcome the Livanian delegate to the assembly floor where we will proceed with the business of the Leaders debate.
