Should this not be 'The delegate shall receive the customary appointment of Admiral General.'
No
I like this idea +1

In all seriousness, though, I think we can advance this bill and get it passed without the customary appointments. That can come in a separate bill so as not to tank the other parts that prove popular.

Alas, I am inclined to agree with you and Kris that it is perhaps not ideal to legally throne myself as Admiral General — the OP has been updated to remove the customary appointments.

Ah yes, good point.
To my knowledge, the Charter is the only other document that refers to the General Corps. The OP has been updated to reflect an amendment to the language in it:
Amendment to the Charter Wrote:THE CHARTER OF THE SOUTH PACIFIC
[...]
X. THE MILITARY
[...]
(2) The military will be led by the Minister of Defense, along with a corps of generals appointed by the Minister and approved by the Assembly. The Minister and general corps the Admiralty may establish further hierarchy, create programs, and appoint deputies as they see necessary.

Shouldn't "corps of generals" in the first sentence of (2) also be edited to "board of admirals" given the proposal?

Indeed. Thanks for pointing this out! Edited the OP.

This seems like an interesting change.
I motion to move this to a vote.
