[COMMUNICATION] State of the Assembly October 2021 |
State of the Assembly October 2021
Two votes were held this month: an amendment to the World Assembly Act to change how the Delegate votes in absence of an official OWL recommendation, and an amendment to the Elections Act to unify references to the Election Commissioner in regional law, both of which passed comfortably.
According to the Legislator Committee Act, in order to keep their legislator status, legislators must vote in at least half of the votes in each month (given that there were at least two votes in that month), as well as maintain a nation in the South Pacific. Since there were two votes this month, legislators need to have voted in at least one of them to keep their status. The list of legislators whom the Chair recommends the Legislator Committee to revoke the legislator statuses of is in the table below. If your legislator status has been revoked, you can always reapply. You can also find the legislator roster for this month attached at the bottom of this post.
Welcome (back) to our new legislators this month! @Bobberino | @Briny(Siyania) | @Concrete Slab | @Flauschi918 | @GrimspyofAllianon | @ILIASFG | @Mtlaing | @Not Austria | @'The King Isle' | @Wisconsin Republic
