After talking with some clerks of the World Forum, representative Virginia Vogélium interrupted the discussion which had risen from the assembly.

"Honorable delegates, I must urge everyone to keep it civil within the Assembly. Now, I must agree with the Gianlucan representative that the motion that was submitted needs to be reworked into an actual proposal that we can actually have a civilized debate on.

And I would prefer if people would address the chair as to prevent the debates to turn personal. It is common practice in many assemblies and I would like to see the practice being extended here in the World Forum.

I truly believe that by behaving in a responsible manner and sticking to some procedures and guidelines, we will arrive to an actual conclusion and do some good work in this institution.

Now, can I have a re-drafted resolution from the honorable delegate from Eareamland?"

Madam Chairwoman, izaakia would like this motion thrown out due to lack of proper structure, evidence and the clear intent to undermine izaakia from a regional rival.

GI-Land has raised a good point.

While the World Forum Charter doesn't specifically state democratic freedom, that's not what's the issue here. The issue here is you have annexed La Montagne ilegally. You should've had them vote, and not owning a shareholding/owning potions of/paying the company. We have yet to be told the company's name, what is it?

Dear colleagues, whatever we decide here will have larger implications for this organisation. We find ourselves at a crossroads. This organisation was founded on the principle of providing a forum where parties in conflict could meet and settle their differences in good faith and in mutual trust. However, it is clear that there are other expectations of the role of the WF: that of a peace enforcer. Of an organisation that actively protects democracy and the rule of international law. Recent escalation and deterioration in places like Valora and Reizen have been used as examples where the WF has failed.

If we decide to be more than a forum, this organisation may become a more exclusive in membership, but more decisive in defending international law. My nation, Sedunn, has carried a heavy burden in defending international law and to enforce peace where few others have. We fought in Tasternine. In Transsuneria. In Reizen. Our efforts have not been in vain, but it has been costly. More nations must share this burden.

If we take more active action against those whom we deem break international law, we will start this transformation of the WF. Sedunn believes it is necessary. And we hope the WF can be both this forum we envisioned, and a stronger voice for peace and decency.

We support stronger measures being taken against Izaakia and in similar cases, but let us not rush into action. The very spirit of the WF is at stake.
