SB has proposed invoking Article 7, which makes no mention to former members. He cannot propose what the law does not provide for. It would be completely illegal to remove someone's citizenship based on past affiliations alone.

SB is proposing to invoke Article 7 on the NPO. Article 7 does not provide for the removal of former members. Therefore, former NPO members cannot be removed based on Article 7.

Does Article 7 actually say that anywhere, or are we assuming because nothing is in there about this type of situation?

It's right there in the law! Do you see any provision in Article 7 that authorizes the removal of former members? :dodgy:
