The Transsunerian government, lacking any direct communication channels with the Frost Federation, has asked the Sedunnic ambassador to issue a formal protest "against this blatant violation of a sovereign nation's border". The Sedunnic foreign minister in turn demands an official explanation for entering Transsuneria's airspace without its permission, underlining that "continued actions like this will have severe effects on our [Sedunn and the Frost Federation] relations, and may call for further actions guaranteeing the security of the Third Republic".
The Sedunnic ambassador was diverted to Imperial Naval Air colonel Hibiki Yoruichi who relayed the following message from the Imperial Frost General staff office, " Ambassador, it is regrettable that the 299th air wing did not follow Imperial protocols on identification and passage through foreign lands in times of peace. However, due to the dangerous and classified nature of the cargo it was prudent to give the 299th the necessary autonomy to safely move it to the home islands as quickly as possible, which resulted in this regrettable incident. The pilots involved will be reprimanded at a later date once the cargo is safely placed in the custody of the Cinigrad prison system."
Rumors have also spread that Gedoh Shugisa, a charismatic, virulent Frost supremacist who co-founded the infamous Eternal Frost Army, has allegedly been apprehended after attempting to flee the territory of Reizen. Some have speculated that there may have been a link between the troop movements due to Shugisa's influence within the now corrupt Reizen police department.
