President Kensei politely declined the Gi-Landian offer of mediation, stating that this is a domestic issue between the local government and sympathizers of a province once notorious for its de facto ethnic segregation. President Kensei also said that the oligarchy was installed as a punitive measure for the Reizen incident several months ago.

The RDP released a statement saying that they do not support a return to an era of segregation and are a coalition of normal citizens who just want their political rights back after being unfairly punished for the action of extremists. Meanwhile violence continued sporadically as riot police maintain a heavy presence keeping protesters and counter-protesters separate.

Tense negotiations between the Oligarchy and RDP have collapsed following a surge in violence that led to the removal and beating of multiple oligarch officials in several cities. The RDP has condemned the violence urging a return to the negotiating but both the oligarch and central Frost government have blamed the RDP for its perceived failures to reign in its own members.

Syusa Sanki, leader of Mass e Sereva, the Serevan National Party, which hopes to gain a substantial majority in the Farra, has been accused of 'fanning the flames of rebellion' by several members of the '1927 committee', the formal meeting of backbenchers of the conservative Syemarars Arutyarcad party.  In response, Ms. Syusa has thrown the accusation back at the Erinoran parliament.  'If you treated us as equals, there would be no question of rebellion.'
