King and Leader Gianluca IV. announced that he will attend the former Ura'sia's funeral later today.
He will also stay for the memorial on the Cirian earthquake from earlier this year and lay down a bouquet to remember the vicitims, especially the former Gianlucian ambassador to Erinor, who died in the earthquake by falling debris.

President Ahilm Abchoy has chosen to travel to Erinor, primarily to attend the former Ura'sia's funeral, and to visit the Cirian earthquake memorial.
He says that he will be praying for both the Ura'sia and the victims of the earthquake. 
Witnesses report seeing the grief-stricken Empress Hestia disembarking a plane in Ciria to attend her Yena's funeral. She refused to speak to the press much, citing her reasons as "needing a moment to collect myself before I attend the service."
A series of announcements follow of deaths in Qaweritoyu in recent days, relatives if the deceased are now ready for the deaths to be announced publicly. Former Vice-Prime Minister Michelle Sims died on 28 December 2017 of Cancer, aged 31 years old. She was waked privately from 28 December until this morning when she will have a state funeral at mid-day. Former Vice Prime Minister Taylor Robinson died on 29 December 2017 of advanced ageing as a result of a virus he had picked up, he was 43 years old. He was waked privately from 29 - 31 December and will be waked publicly on 1 January. His state funeral will be at mid-day on 2 January 2018. Former Vice-Prime Minister Cathy Rodriguez also contracted the ageing virus and died overnight, she was 30 years old. She will be waked publicly today, tomorrow (1 January 2018), 2 January 2018 and the morning of 3 January ahead of her state funeral at mid-day on 3 January.
Hundreds of Grovners (Grovne inhabitants) have during the week been meeting outside the Erinoran emabassy, laying flowers and candles in support of Erinor and in honour of the former Ura'sia. Rotten foodstuffs has been put outside the Bruuman embassy in a concurrent protest against the Bruuman regime and its invasion of Sereva.
President Jenny Davis was seen walking back through the door of the First Gentleman's House. Many people who saw this thought they were seeing a ghost. Police arrived and armed forces but it turns out she faked her death to protect her life, her husband's life and her son's life. It turns out she was being held hostage until now and was released last night. Questioning, investigations and ID checks will be in place with her for a couple of days but once she is cleared of all these, she will be allowed to resume her role as Head of State. The First Gentleman has been contacted and told but he will remain in Erinor until after the funeral. This now raises the question of why former President Willard Blair is in prison if the victim is alive?
The funeral procession, carrying the lace-covered coffin of former Ura'sia Yena Yamera-Hyudo, lead by her husband Adaro Okhrensa-Maralto and both the current Ura'sio and Asa'sia, has left the courtyard of Draqin Syarkhod on its way to the Mena Tacirid, where thousands of mourners have been gathering in Vallano Menad since the early hours of the morning.

One of the girls who fell off the roof of a pub in Alton City has given birth to a premature baby at 27 weeks. The baby is miraculously fine. The mother has been pronounced brain dead.
