The Sedunnic Armed Forces Command has announced a "mobilisation and field deployment exercise" for the the entire so-called Local Guard Forces next month. This all-voluntary branch of the army consists of 106 light mechanised battalions, about 60,000 reserve troops, whose role is rapid countermeasure, local defence and mobilisation support.

Prime Minister Barrett, President Davis and Head of the Qaz Fire Service, Lula Montgomery, have cleared the area ravaged by fire for fire brigade to begin the search for the dead along and have cleared the area for medical workers to access the area in the search for the dead. Head of Qaz Health Service, Bernard Marshall, has urged medical workers, doctors, nurses and paramedics to be extra cautious in their work. He has also permitted undertakers to move in. Head of Qaz Police, Lora Barton, has warned that nobody should be let past Police barriers and into the area except rescue workers. A Red Alert remains in place for the public.

Today, the Government have started working on Ethics in relation to good and evil, right and wrong, virtue and vice, justice and crime, moral psychology, descriptive ethics, value theory, meta-ethics in relation to truth values, mormative ethics in relation to morals, applied ethics in relation to reactions to certain situations. They are expected to finish this work at the end of next week. In the absence of the Prime Minister, who is very busy assessing the situation of the fires in Clearhill, the Government have announced that work has begun to repair the burst dam in Cadmium and a Yellow Alert remains in place in Cadmium.

The Bundesarmee and several social institutions such as hospitals and old people's homes have asked the parliament and Leader in an open letter today to discuss the possibility of introducing a compulsory service, where young people should be forced to serve in the military or in a social institution in the year after school.

Prime Minister Barrett has legalised slavery. She also sacked Devin Flowers, former Minister of Tourism after a shark attack that injured a number of Qaz tourists. She has appointed Asok Weber in his place.

An outbreak of swine flu has forced a school in Alton City to close. The Principal, Lois Jennings, was contacted for comment. She told us it wasn't contagious.

The Sedunnic government has announced its intention to embargo Qaweritoyu and asks the international community to do the same until slavery is abolished again.

Ryccia has seized all property of Qaweritoyu companies operating in the country, and has imposed an embargo on the country. "Should a Ryccian citizen be enslaved in Qaweritoyu or by Qaweritoyu citizens attempting to get them to their homeland, we will immediately declare war, and bomb the Qaweritoyu capital for this insult to human rights"

The Gianlucian Leader condemned the legalisation of slavery in Qaweritoyu. "I don't see one good reason why a modern society should allow slavery. This act is backwards and blatantly stupid."

Also the Leader said, regarding Ryccia's threats, that GI-Land and hopefully also the international community won't tolerate any war crime committed by any nation, if one of the nation's citizens should get into Qaz' slavery.
