The recent online Referendum on Corporal Punishment concluded with 63% of voters voting to remove it and 37% voting to keep it. Corporal Punishment has been removed from the Constitution.

Prime Minister Barrett has revealed a further 18,850 people have recovered from GID-20 and a further 119,354 have died. 181,792 cases remain active.

With a landslide of 546 to 104 votes, the Königspalast voted in favour of prophylactic psychiatric examinations every 5 years, which will be completely covered by public health insurance. Furthermore the agreement between the main energy provider of GI-Land, Enyon, and the government on the phase-out of nuclear energy finally passed a parliamentary vote, where Social Democrats and the Left party also voted in favour of the deal.

The Azimi State Council of Representatives has voted to permit Islamic courts to decide on family matters with the same legal weight as secular courts, so long as the two parties consent. The Ryccian government has condemned the move, calling it "an affront towards the secularist principles of the country" and has vowed to challenge the Azimi government in federal court.
