In a break in over a century of tradition, Empress Astrid has demanded to address parliament today to find out why the necessary resources to send aid to LandLand were unavailable and to be briefed on the suspected situation in 182 and the location of prime minster LeRogue.

After the address to Parliament today by empress Astrid, there was a vote on whether to grant her requests. After many objections based on overreaching her constitutional bounds, the requests were accepted by parliament. However, they refused her subsequent calls for a vote of no confidence in the prime minister.

Sources from the royal court have leaked that empress Astrid was in the 182 territory earlier today and met with prime minister LeRogue on the Imperial Jet . It is understood that she demanded his resignation, and that he had denied her demand. Empress Astrid is at present en route back to izaakia.

The NRGMM Miséricorde has shipped today heading for Landland. It is expected to arrive in 4 to 5 days travelling at maximum speed. In the mean time two cargo planes filled with some personnel and medical ressources will arrive later today in Landland.

Minister-President Raymond Doumergue is expected to arrive in Landland in 1 to 2 days to evaluate and present the Council of Government with some propositions to help Landland.

The Gianlucian government was criticised by human rights organisations for not having sent any help to Landland yet. "It's humiliating how they still haven't acted upon the message of a friendly nation, that they are in deep trouble, while all the world is looking at us at the moment due to the World Cup."
