The Frost Empire has declined to recognize the Izaakian referendum at this time. When pressed for a reason a spokesperson for the Ministry of foreign affairs stated that “the Frost Empire does not have evidence that the referenda was conducted in a fair and transparent manner, and given recent tensions between the two states, it would be prudent to proceed cautiously.”
