President Blanc participates in the traditional war ceremony of sacrificing 12 bulls to the main pagan Montacian gods. The ceremony took place at the Montacia foundation stones in the centre of La Citadelle the ancient Montacian capital. The stone circle is believed to be over 8000 years old with the 12 alters to the gods built around the stone circles around 3000 years ago. This mountaintop site has been the centre of Montacian religious culture for millennia.

Izaakia fires a warning shot with missile from submarine USIN Swordfish into Nicholas and Great Britain which hit the target and destroyed Nicholas’ Bentley parked outside the conference building where Nicholas is currently in talks with King Vimmru.

The Sedunnic foreign minister summoned the Izaakian ambassador to protest against the "warning shot" that hit a target close to King Vimmru, endangering his life. The ambassador was further informed that recommendations against Sedunners visiting any of the USI states had been issued and that Izaakian state craft were not to be allowed to enter Sedunnic airspace or territorial sea.
Izaakian ambassador reassures the Sedunnic foreign minister that the United States of Izaakia has absolute confidence in their ability to hit a target and that King Vimmru was never at risk. He further expressed disappointment at the Sedunnic actions.

The parties of the Königspalast call for an emergency meeting on Izaakia's most recent actions tomorrow. Strunk, who is part of Sanddorn's delegation in the Frost Empire, is said to fly back to GI-Land for this session, even if an agreement between Kensei and Sanddorn cannot be found in the next 24 hours.

Sedunnic media cites the risk of setting off secondary explosions that could have killed the king or damaged the government airplane. The Sedunnic Government calls the attack "utterly irresponsible" and "lacking in respect of Vimmru's life".
Izaakian media reports that the sedunnese are being overly dramatic, with government sources questioning why the Sedunnic king was still in N&GB when peace talks have clearly failed and the nation has become an active warzone. Stating that he knew the risks he was taking by staying.

The Sedunnic police has dispersed a protest outside the Izaakian embassy. Two protesters have been detained after attempting to shoot fireworks at the embassy.
Still covered in the blood of sacrificial bulls President Blanc makes a statement on the first shots of war. She said, “Our gentle reminder to Nicholas and anybody else that would wish to oppose us that we can strike you, anywhere in the world at any time was a final opportunity for Nicholas to surrender before human blood is spilled. The fact that King Vimmru was in the vicinity is regrettable, however, we could not let him inadvertently stand in the way of the greater good. Because that is what we are pursuing, the greater good, we are removing the largest threat to the region so we can continue to have the freedom to be who we are and so the Romordians can be free to be who they are, without the influence and tyranny of lesser men. If there are consequences to that pursuit of freedom, then at any price they are a price I am willing to pay for freedom.”
