(01-31-2017, 02:58 PM)GI-Land Wrote: "I do hope so", the Leader answered and then looked out the window, where he saw several buildings, old and new, passing by.

The Peony as well as Gjieramm seemed both to be nice people and he would be excited, what the future is awaiting for all those nations meeting here to happen.

He turned around to the Peony and the Sedunnic foreign minister again.

"Cirea looks like a nice city. I'm planning to meet Ms. Guben, our ambassador here, later on. Do you plan to visit your ambassadors too or are you too busy for it today? I know, that Sedunn has its national day tomorrow, so I wouldn't be surprised, if you'd be occupied otherwise, Gjieramm, and you, honrable Peony, seem to be a pretty busy person too, as your nation is also one, that strives for more international recognition, not to talk about your seat as professor at the Lotus University."

"I will stay overnight and meet ambassador Etussienn before leaving tomorrow, after which I will hurry back to Sedunn for the celebrations, like you said. How about you?"

"After we attended the ceremony, I'll meet with Ms. Guben and talk with her about her work as ambassador here. We are very content with her right now and couldn't imagine anyone better in her position at the moment."

"We'll have to get something pencilled in as soon as possible," Sirea added, "as well as some more detailed conversations about what kind of relationship our two nations could have, and how we might best help each other out."

Outisde the freeway descended into they city of Ciria proper and the flat roofed, rainforest-gardened houses of the poorer citizens began to be replaced with the architecture of wealth from the modern day (the banking distance rose, glittering, to the west) through the 19th century neo-Varsan grandeur of Cata pulea, the new town (the domed roof othe Mena Parlid towered above the embassies of Vallano Parlid to the South East), to the ancient Varsan and Varsan-Gothic stones of the old town, Cata vanyea, which lay crouched in the valley beneath Syarkho Qenarid's original fortress, Draqin Syarkhod.  As the road headed in that direction it became possible to see where the old town opened up around the massive square of Vallano Menad and the curious structure of the Mena Tacirid, the Temple of Creation, at its heart.

The Mena managed to look both imposingly solid and impossibly fragile at the same time.  Built of the same white stone that gave Ciria its ancient name (Cata cirea, white city), it was made of impossibly light gothic arches, scissor arches and vaults, stacked together to form an organic step pyramid which rose, like the boughs of a twisted mangrove tree, to three spiralling points entwined around each other in a short, fractured spire.  Though the architecural style was similar to the rest of Cata vanyea's most ostentatious buildings, and the shape mirrored that of the pyramid temples across Erinor, there was no other building quite like it in the world.

"Beautiful, isn't it?" Yena asked as it came into sight briefly from the main road before the way wound down into Cata vanyea proper and the view was blocked with ancient, white stone buildings stretching along the winding street.

Isara watched the changing architecture outside her as the car drove past. Her eyes hiding her awe as she guessed the historical nature of the buildings around her and later the imposing but fragile structure of the Mena. Hearing the Ura’sia speak, Isara replied, “it is… It’s almost as if I’m visiting Frost City where the history of our people is alive and well. Although in this case with Cirea, the history of your people is vibrant and seems to be beloved by your people. “

“It would also be for the best if we can establish a beneficial relationship between our two nations. When would be most convenient for you?” added Nagisa

"I think," Yena replied, glancing at Sirea for confirmation as she did so, "that some time in the New Year would best, once all the business of Christmas and similar festivities, like this one, are fading memories. I could return this honour by visiting the Frost Empire.

"I think there could be room for a state visit like that in mid-to-late January, there being no constitutional crises or, Dreamers forbid, disasters," Sirea agreed with a laugh.

"Do you think that might work?" Yena enquired glancing at the Frost Foreign Minister as much as the Princess.

"That would be wonderful, and we would be honored to host a state visit between our states." Isara said as she glanced at Nagisa who pulled out a small planner from her right breast pocket and flipped through the pages to look for scheduled events. Seeing that the Ura'sia's request didn't cause a scheduling conflict, Nagisa replied, "Yes, both President Kensei and his trade minister will also be available to meet with you, Ura'sia in mid-to-late January. President Kensei and Trade Minister Kinjishi were recently bombarded with trade requests by our businessmen and will be happy to discuss ways to maximize the economic benefits to both our states."

"Then that's settled," Yena said, "Sirea will make sure all the arrangements are made after your visit."

"I have a good relationship with ambassador Kurono, so I shall look forward to finalising the details with him," Sirea added.

Their car was, at that moment, pulling onto Vallano Menad, the road around the square having been cordoned off to all but VIP traffic. They came to stop behind a line of similar looking vehicles, the car with the other delegates parking just behind them.

"There will be quite a lot of media attention, I'm afraid," Yena said, staring out at the crowds filling the square and the wall of cameras which appeared to mark its edge. "Feel free to answer questions or not, as suits you. We have a little time before we need to be seated inside the Mena.

The doors were opened and Yena was the first to step out and wave at the thousands of people staring her way. Sirea followed immediately after and Yena looped her arm through the other woman's, a reminder to all of their strong friendship and a symbol of this still-new thing: a feminist government in Erinor.

They crossed the road and began to make their way along the avenue cleared between the delicate, yet imposing structure of the Mena and the sea of eager faces stretching off to the far side of the square, knowing that the various delegates came behind them.

The Peony's guardians boxed The Peony as she came out first from the car. After tightening her hijab, she decided to reach inside her bag for a paper umbrella and unleashes it. She smiles at the crowd as she walks behind Yena

Soon afterwards Assembly Chair Oda exited the vehicle. Nagisa promptly exited soon after and assisted the princess from the vehicle who dusted off her kimono. Fixing the shawl back into place the Princess smiled softly as she took the lead walking towards the square flanked by the foreign minister and Chair. The trio keeping pace with the Ura'sia and Peony who walked behind the Erinorans.

The Peony had noticed the young woman roughly her age and with such a fine (not to mention similar) taste of dressing. She had remembered of the Princess and the Frost delegation. She then proceeded to approach them, her guardians opened to her left and slowed down, allowing the Peony to be next to the Frost delegation.

"Ni Hao. Such fine weather isn't it? I believe we have not been introduced, I am The Peony of the humble state of Huawan, how are you?"

“The weather is quite lovely,” the young princess replied subtly smiling, “It is also an honor to meet the esteemed Peony of the medical country of Huawan. I am Princess Isara F. Firenze of the Frost Empire. I hope that you have enjoyed your visit to this lovely country.”
