Gianni: “Izaakia, I hate you so much. You’re such a good bad guy. Must be because of your genes“.

"What are your foreign policy views on the Frost Empire, a hypothetically independent Reizen state, and the Termina Commerce Confederacy Respectively?"/
"Will your respective party reconsider relations or change the state policies around the aforementioned states?" SLP: We have friendly and respectful relations to the Frost Empire on the one hand. On the other we have only loose relations to Reizen and Termina. The former can be explained through our neutrality in the Reizen Civil War, which is not necessarily a good basis to start off relations onto whereas allies of the democratic forces of Reizen have an advantage of establishing ties to the regional government. In the next four years we would like to negotiate a trade agreement with the TCC and we'd like to further develop the security organisation proposed by Sedunn, since we saw, that the Frost Empire and GI-Land have some common security interests in Pacifica. As for the relations to Reizen: In general we continue to look objectively into the current situation and of course will weigh out whether establishing ties to Reizen will hurt or benefit us and the relation to the Frost Empire more. Right now we can not give a definitive answer on whether we will include a potential nation on Reizen into our foreign policy or not. Greens/KPHA: GI-Land and the Frost Empire have experienced a strengthening of their ties to each other recently. It helped, that GI-Land did keep itself out of the Reizen conflict, but also that with the United States of Izaakia a common rival has joined on the world stage and even advanced to be the Speaker of the World Forum now. We do see a common ground, on which both countries could sign a formal treaty of cooperation in the near future. As for Termina, we do see the economic potential for us to talk and trade with them. It has admittedly been a mistake to not get into talks with their government on a trade agreement sooner, but our promise is, that at the end of the next legislature the latest, we will have signed a bilateral contract with them laying out the basis on which GI-Land and the TCC can trade with each other. A democratic Reizen state would receive our support. LGI: While GI-Land and the Frost Empire do not necessarily have the same goals or use the same means to establish stability in the region, I think we have seen in the Reizen Civil War that the Frost Empire can be a strong partner on GI-Land's side fighting for democracy. Now is the time to keep the promise of fair and democratic elections on Reizen and accepting whatever result comes out of it though. Before this hasn't happened, we are hesitant to deepen our ties to both, the Empire and Reizen. In case of Termina, we do not think, GI-Land needs stronger relations to that country. For capitalists it might be a paradise, but at what costs? Is democracy and social equity something GI-Land and the TCC can even agree on? We currently doubt that and thus do not see the need for a policy change towards them. AVP: While on the outside, the Frost Empire might smile at us, we honestly think, they are either laughing or grumbling behind our backs. Let's face it: We left the Empire alone during the Reizen Civil War, because of our unsufficient military expenditure. We were not helping in defending freedom, democracy and stability over in Bareland and that led to many people dying and/or experiencing a nuclear attack. This behaviour needs to stop, if we want Frost to stick to us in friendship. Negotiating a free trade agreement with the Termina Commerce Confederacy is one of the top points on our foreign policy agenda. FPG: The Frost Empire shall be one of our anchors in a potential Cordilian Union, not only because of their economic power and the potential market many Cordilian nations would like to invest into, but also for security reasons. Our army is currently not capable of defending us alone on a major scale, which means we will need the security alliance proposed by Sedunn in combination with the common Cordilian market, we are suggesting, and more military spending. In Reizen, whether it becomes an own state or not, we see huge developing potential, especially as they need outside help to build their country up again. That's why we would like to introduce an Economic Recovery Fund for Reizen (ERFR) at the World Forum. Just like other parties pointed out already, our current government did forget about establishing (economic) ties to the Termina Commerce Confederacy even though we both would probably benefit from the exchange of technology between our countries. This is why we are also advocating for a free trade agreement with Termina. "Will you recognize an independent Reizen state?" SLP/Greens/KPHA/LGI/FPG: Yes, provided Reizen becomes independent through fair, democratic and legal means. The stability of the region needs to be guaranteed as well as terrorists not being involved in a potential government. AVP: (has not commented on this question) "If so, will you stop the Frost Empire from invading Reizen, if Democratic elections result in the Return of the Reizen Independence Movement?" SLP/Greens/KPHA/FPG: Apart from the fact, we would not have the means, men and infrastructure to blockade the Frost army from invading Reizen, we already mentioned, we do not accept a government, in which terrorists are involved. LGI: It should be seen as Reizen's right to become independent and democratic. This can result in a victory of the RIM during free, fair and democratic elections, which wouldn't be a favourable outcome of the election for sure, seeing how they were using terroristic means in their warfare during the Reizen Civil War, however it would not be a sufficient enough reason to argue in favour of an invasion of the territory and with that a continuation of the humanitarian emergency situation, that has ended not even a year ago. Provided the Frost Empire invades Reizen again, we would look into possibilities to end the conflict as quickly as possible with the help of the World Forum. The usage of peacekeeping troops can hopefully be avoided.

@VPRB I know, I know, communism is good and stuff, but I still got a tiny complaint 1) If the party shall really vote fully socialist or communist: The segment of "Other" parties does include a communist party also, which is even more extreme than the Left. Of course it won't get into parliament though, but maybe you'd like to consider giving some votes to "Others". 2) Maybe even foreign elections are not free in Bruuma and the other countries, however I'd overthink, whether Gianlucians abroad would really vote 100% for the LGI. At least some votes should maybe go to other parties in order to prevent allegations of fraudulent votes and the eventual subsequent invalidation of all votes coming from your countries Of course you can leave everything as it is right now. Just wanted to inform you about my train of thoughts.
