Empress Astrid flew back from GI Land today to organise a relief effort for the disaster struck nation of LandLand. She is reported to have said, “When times of great disaster befall our world, we must pull together as one people and unite in the effort to save lives and rebuild.”
It is understood izaakia will be sending heavy machinery to clear debris as well as tents for temporary shelter, food rations and water. The storm is the seventh to affect Landland this year and as such has been named Storm Gemstone. With winds reaching speeds of up to 40m/s it was truly devastating.
The Ryccian Federation has announced that it shall send humanitarian aid to Landland due to the storm.

Izaakian aid response to LandLand has reportedly been delayed by the unexplained lack of military aircraft and support ships. Izaakia Air and Polestar Shipping have stepped in to fill the logistic gap, and first shipments will begin tonight.
