In a press conference after the draw, Karnetvor's manager, Grigori van der Weyden, was asked about his reactions.
"It will certainly be a tough one. We have been placed, after all, with one of the group winners and with the hosts. However, we have proved during the last week that we are a force to deal with, and they will certainly have it tough too". "Are you confident of your chances in the next round?" a reporter asked. "Yes. Once again, we have showed our worth. There hadn't been a tournament of this sort in years, but I think we're ready for the challenge". "Do you think it was a coincidence that we fell in the same group as Sedunn?" another reporter asked. "I can't tell exactly. *laughs* At least we know that will be a match to look forward to. Everybody knows our history, and our teams have a... certain rivalry, so, it'll be interesting". Meanwhile, Karnetvor's main newspaper, the Gazette, released an article about the recent victory against the Imperial Union.

In another press conference, Treyn was asked for a little resume of the tournament until this phase:
"We have made our errors, but were also very attacking. I'm still very proud of my team. We now are in a group, that we should get done, but like always: Do not count your chickens before they are hatched."

Dylan Wolff, Rebeltopian Councilman of the Exterior, and President Detwiler have been spotted in Sudunn, taking in the countries first international tournament. Rebeltopia won the match 1-0 against Transsuneria.
Rebeltopia went 2-1-1 to advance to the 2nd stage of group play. Schedule has yet to be announced. Sent from my SGH-M919 using Tapatalk

Sedunn advanced to the second group stage with an uncomfortably low margin. Experts agree that Sedunn had employed a too offensive strategy that both failed to score and left the defence too weak. For tonight's match, coach Grevienn has presented a formation that focuses more on defence, which might be particularity sound since they will be playing against Karnetvor, which has proven itself a quite capable goalscorer. Grevienn has chosen a classic defensive 4–2–3–1 formation, which still allows for surprise strikes, which suits players like Matts, captain Lenienn and Ge'tem better. Grevienn likely aims for stopping opponent attacks by controlling the midfield, maintaining as much possession of the ball as possible to hinder the quick Karnetvorians and wear them down instead of matching their goal-scoring capabilities. Grunberg is finally back from an untimely sick leave, and we will hopefully see the dynamic duo Grunberg-Eipp revived. Otherwise there are only minor changes; Nytterr has swapped places with Timnienn, as requested by them. A Sedunn-Karnetvor match is always a classic. Always a dead serious clash, but still brotherly. Sedunn must show it's worthy of advancing to the second stage, and it will be tough. All day 1 match results are in! The FSO wins comfortably against Sereva, GI-Land wins less convincingly. Despite many good attempts on goal, the IU-Frost Empire match ends with a 2-2 draw. Sedunn is likely happy with 0-0 against Karnetvor. Tables and schedule here! Day 1 Group A: IU - Frost Empire 2-2 Group B: Sedunn - Karnetvor 0-0 Group C: FSO - Sereva 3-0 Group D: UK - GI-Land 0-1
People are going completely crazy about the 1:0-victory against Qvait.
Szalok was the producer of this elevated mood as he shot his wonderful goal in the 80th minute. A free kick that easily got above the defensive wall of the UK and finally hit the top right-hand corner of the goal. Still we shouldn't get too high of this feeling. We're not even in a K.O.-round, therefore at least one more victory has to follow.

GI-Land proceeds to play in the FWC in Flered (Sedunn). After a 2:0 victory against SAM (Ygass (31.), Szalok (69.)) it's almost impossible for GI-Land to not-be in the K.O.-rounds of the competition!
