The Citizens of the Union's Navy have reportedly started to cross over the borders of the Tarassian Union into unknown territory. Confirm reports buoys have been left on these excursion patrols sending out images and Tharesaka and Anglish language files to any outsiders, repeating a message wishing to initiate first contact protocols. This is all part of the "End of the Slumber" plan by the newly elected Tarassos Gor D'Kut to solidify the Union's position in the Sector.

Archon Bor J’Dallot of the Rattian Mandate has stated that while the ancient enemy may be out there, he agrees with Tarassos D'Kut's wish to reassess the positioning of the Tarassian Union. However, if the ancient enemy rearises again, the Citizen's Union Navy will be first to respond to the threat.

News from the recently discovered Zelvan Regime has reached the mainstream media. The Shahib of Arvarr, Donijeg Akura, has voiced his wishes to the Vizier Council to lessen military forces in the Fendar and Bonar sectors. Instead of hostilities, the Shahib wishes to re-evaluate the situation and open trade agreements with other star nations. It is speculated that the Shahib wants to solidify his ecumenopolis world's, Arvarr, economic power well within the whole Sector.

A recent political turmoil in the Zelvan Regime's courts has lead the Sapa Zelvana to organize a large proclamation. The message has been broadcasted to the Treecuu Star Empire and has since circled through diplomatic channels of the other star nations. The Sapa Zelvana said the following during her proclamation in front of Zelvar:

The Empire has reiterated its vehement opposition to slavery. A new law has been passed, automatically granting all Zelvan slaves their freedom and Ryccian permanent residency if they enter Imperial space.

Following the requests of clarification and recent pre-emptive laws the star nations such as the Ryccian Empire, the Grand Vizier Council of the Zelvan Regime has issued a new statement: "While it is unfortunate to see such actions be taken against our Regime, we still hope that to peacefully coexist with other star nations. We hope in time those like the Ryccian Empire will see the error in their ways and come to accept our enlightenment."

The Ryccian Empire reports the passing of the Imperial Chancellor, His Grace, the Baron Ferul Blesforn Tigonia Vilen Kaigra. His death was ruled as a suicide by carbon monoxide poisoning. The state funeral shall be held in a week.

Despite the recent advancing Venterrans in the Stoinian Star Kingdom, Stoinian King Andrei III has voiced his concerns for the recent astropolitical developments: "The Venterrans are pushing us back, but we will push them back and make them bleed for every inch. In the aftermath of the Zelvan Regime's sector-wise broadcast, many in the Drakari Celestial Imperium's populace and government have reiterated that the slave trade is anathema to the principles of both the Pantheon and the Great Stewardship itself.  The Kri'ghal Commune is currently embroiled in furious protests at the notion of yet another slaver state arising in the galaxy, with demonstrations reaching across all worlds inhabited by the Kri'ghal people.  His Imperial Majesty released a statement before the general public shortly afterwards:  "I understand the righteous fury that has rightly engulfed the people, and share in it.  But it is my fervent hope that these Zelvan will be willing to set their whips down in the coming centuries and join us in our glorious purpose of protecting sapient life where ever it may flourish as followers of the Great Stewardship."

Following the news of Chancellor Blesforn's death, High Legate Sinclair has voiced his deepest condolences to the Ryccian people. Despite it being trying times, both Ryccian and Stoinian people will perservere. Sinclair has also voiced that he will attend to Blesforn's funeral.
