The Sedunner wanted to ask if they had burried his fallen friend already and if his corpse had been plundered by the RIM, but all that would have to wait.
"Unfortunately, the interface is in Sedunnic, but it is rather intuitive. Unless you have removed the battery it should be in locked mode. To unlock the device, press and hold the key with the star for three seconds. The screen will then light up. Dial 555-645-132. Doing this will connect you with the headquarters of the Sedunnic Armed Forces. They have a strategic suggestion that you will be interested in learning more about."

OOC: *The is base on UTC-2 to show the Frost Perspective of the Bzerneleg assault. The Bzerneleg order of battle was found in Proclamation 6003 and does not reflect the Bzerneleg Southeastern Command's full strength. The results of the battle are unchanged, but heavy resistance from the Frost navy and army during the brief battle may have a lasting impact on the surviving forces of both sides. The number of losses for Bzerneleg ships, planes and troops is at the discretion of Bzerneleg.
Alphonse Kirihito followed the commando's instructions to contact his [Hip-Hop's] Superiors. Before Alphonse punched in the final number, he spoke in Austral, "Comrade Captain, when you have time, please escort... Hip-Hop? to the morgue." Captain Amari was confused by Politburo's words, but then quickly realized that he wanted to be alone to talk with the Commando's superiors. The Captain nodded her head in understanding and responded, "Of course sir," and turned to the two partisans, "Stand outside and wait for my return." "Hip hop, will you please come with me?" she said as she opened the door. When the partisans and the Sedunnic Commando left, he punched in the number and waited.
OOC: I've tried to tone down the despair of the RDC perspective below, but reader discretion is still advised.
Captain James Nakano was panicking. His unit was unlucky enough not to have Bzerneleg soldiers embedded within their lines and now the ground around them spewed dirt and debris high into the air as artillery shells screamed in from an unknown place. The RIM soldiers in front of them laughed maniacally as the shells indiscriminately landed in both of their lines. Despite the violent eruption of the ground, he saw the RIM getting ready to charge with captive villagers serving as human shields. "They're crazy..." the captain muttered before he desperately tried to reassure his wavering friends that help would be on the way. "They're monsters Captain. There's no way regular folks like us could fight back against those cruel bastards" responded an RDC militiaman who tried to stop trembling as he tried to aim around the human shields being forced to march forward by the RIM. "I can't shoot them!" Cried out another. "Please give us the retreat order. I can't shoot the-" shouted one soldier before he was cut off by a ominous cry that brought a shiver down their spine. The RDC troops looked forward to see that the RIM had pushed their hostages to run faster as they began to charge the RDC line. The sight of panicking people chased by the RIM exacerbated the panic among the men. One by one the RDC men turned to flee the trench crying, "Screw this I don't want to DIE!" or "Run for your LIVES!". The Captain desperately tried to keep them in line shouting, "Come back! Please! We have to defend this line! We have to protect the Village behind the Trench!" The captain cried out again "PLEASE! COMEBACK!" but the men didn't listen and continued to run into the jungle. The Captain was alone. Tears welled up in his eyes as he picked up a rifle and cried out to the Civilians running towards him to "Get out of the the Way!" and then to "Jump in the crater" as he heard the whistles of the latest barrage pepper the line in between the him and the RIM in a hail of molten rain. One of the shells detonated close to the Captain hurling him back into a tree. As the Captain slowly blacked out he heard voices calling his name.
"The meeting will commence shortly, will it not?" Asked Doctor Sienna.
"Yes doctor."
"Please ensure that no one are to interrupt."
"Understood." Answered Ducane.
It was then that doctor Sienna's pager rung, and made her jump to rush outside her office.
"The man we rushed in, book, he woke up."

After having asked who was calling, the voice, clearly belonging to a woman, thanked Alphonse Kirihito for taking the time to listen to the Sedunnic suggestion.
"I am lieutenant Braienn", she continued, "and I will convey exactly the same message to you as the Frost Empire and the RDC already have recieved. Please listen to what I have to say, and I will be happy to answer any and all questions when I have finished the message."
"Sedunn is very concerned about the situation in Reizen. The humanitarian situation is dire, and more and more foreign powers with their own agendas to expand their influence are about to intervene. We believe that should the conflict be allowed to continue, there would be a risk of a second Great War. We must act quickly and resolutly."
"We believe that the solution is a unified Reizen front against the RIM, like the Grovne Pact of Non-Agression, combined with a swift stroke against the RIM's ability to wage war. Sedunn has the capability to conduct a saturation attack against RIM AA units and command centres. The strike would open up much of Reizen for Signatory forces and redeployment of forces to combat the RIM."
"In return, Sedunn asks that the people of Reizen be allowed to choose their own future after the RIM has been defeated, by a free and fair referendum. Sedunn has no interest in seeing a specific faction win because it has a certain name or label, we only want it to be the choice of the people who live there. We believe this is the fastest way to peace in Reizen and stability for the whole region."
"In addition to said strikes against the RIM, Sedunn can initially offer the equivalent of two strike fighter squadrons, one regiment-size airomobile battlegroup, one regiment-size marine battlegroup, field artillery and naval units to aid a unified Reizen front against the RIM."
"This concludes the message."
"We can provide a link to the Empire and the RDC if you wish to discus our suggestion with them. Questions or comments, respected Politburo leader?"

Alphonse Kirihito listened to Lt. Braienn's message and took mental notes of things that he could use to justify his decision to agree to their deal to the ideologues. A saturated bombardment of RIM positions using Sedunnic Weapons would certainly benefit their friends in Bruuma and Kai Fa in saving military assets. He couldn't openly agree to the Sedunnic offer for volunteers, but he could tacitly agree to their presence on the ground. Once the message was concluded he spoke, "I see, that is certainly an enticing offer. However, the failure of the Grovne Ceasefire is still fresh in the minds of the WPR. Do you have the means to ensure that the Capitalists do not go back on their words again like they have in the past? Furthermore, while I am personally not opposed to the offer of sending in additional volunteers to deal with the RIM, the others do not share my sentiment. That being said if the Imperialists ask for the volunteers I can use my influence to keep our partisans from attacking, but we hope the Imperialists would relieve pressure to our North.”
Isaki was hard at work interviewing the troops and filming the war to inform the Public and the region at large. She had just finished her last interview when she received a phone call from her boss,
"Hello chief. Yes... I'm alright. The Third Division has made sure that the press corp is as safe as possible given the circumstances. I understand sir, but the front lines haven't shifted at all. Yes sir. No sir, the Sixth Fleet was outgunned by the Bzerneleg fleet. Did they underestimate the enemy? No, no they didn't. Major General Gin said that the fleet was deployed with only her surface fleet since the RDC was lacked a proper navy to challenge them. Submarines? I'm sure that the Navy would have sent them during the time they played chicken with the Bzerneleg fleet. uh-huh... occupied the majority of this island??? No, the Press Corp is still here just a few klicks east of Delta Harbor. The Bzerneleg Journalists said what? That is definitely disappointing. I was hoping our foreign colleagues would have some standards than release propaganda. The other journalists in our press corps will undoubtedly be angry at the lack of- mhm... Their editors are contacting them too? I see, then that makes a joint condemnation easy to make. Yes sir. I'll be sure to collaborate with our friends on that. Oh by the way I'll send you the update on the frontlines soon." she then hung up the phone and briskly walked to the press pool to draft a condemnation letter.

Matthew Kyle spoke, "Hello, the people I work with are interested in helping comrades in Reizen who want to build a better world for our children. We can guarantee you a steady supply of weapons designed for use by the Valkyrian Defence Forces. These weapons that our oppressive state have manufactured have never been used by anyone who wasn't Valkyrian. Tomorrow and for the rest of all time, these weapons can be used against these oppressors and to advance the cause. Here is a list of weapons that we can procure for your organisation."
- V2 handguns
- V9 carbines
- V34 sniper rifles
- V55 machine guns
- V67 shotguns
- V154 anti-tank missiles
- V545 mortars
- Weapon attachments
- Ammunition
"In return for the procurement and delivery of these weapons, Vorsica will need money to continue operating under the capitalist regime that we find ourselves under. Other than weapons, we have former members of the Valkyrian Defence Forces, Qvaitican Armed Forces, and/or Winstonian Defence Forces who can train members of your organisation to better fight against your oppressors. An annual payment of fifty million Pacific dollars or 4.17 million Pacific dollars per month, with conversion of foreign currency taken into account, will be enough to procure you a sufficient stream of weaponry that can take down an empire."

On behalf of the government of Bzerneleg, I hereby issue an ultimatum towards the Imperial Navy and all other forces involved to it, to retreat from Reizen and Zett Islands. All troops and equipment shall remain at a minimum distance of 50 miles away from the covered area. For further clarification, the "covered area" herein means a 50-mile area around the two islands aforementioned.
The Imperial Navy or any other competent authorities are given 48 hours to take actions necessary in order to comply with the demands within this ultimatum. In the case that the demands are not met, the forces of the Frost Empire will be met with fury and fire.

WPR Comms officer Keiki Kono listened to the Vorsica offer silently taking down notes of the products they offered. After the Valkyrian spoke of the price, Kono responded, "I see, that is certainly an enticing offer for the Worker's party of Reizen however, we are unsure of what the current exchange rate is for Rei to Pacific dollar. I will relay your offer to Minister Kokonoe, and we hope that your organization will help us defeat the Nationalists and capitalists."
Admiral Yamamoto was discussing the Bzerneleg ultimatum with the other Fleet commanders of the Imperial Frost Navy.
6th Fleet Adm. Akagi Yamamoto (Y): ... the forces of the Frost Empire will be met with fury and fire. Thus ends the Bzerneleg ultimatum.
9th Fleet Adm. Rukia Toshizou (T): It appears their arrogance knows no bounds Admiral Yamamoto, its a surprise that they managed to overwhelm your fleet.
3rd Fleet Adm. Kirino Yui (KY): Indeed it is a surprise that you pulled back from the fight when you had the submersible fleet on hand to deal with the aggressors.
1st Fleet Adm. Remilia A. Firenze (F): Now isn't the time to be questioning the Admiral's conduct in the battle. It was our own strategic failures to adapt to the situation at hand. I should have relinquished command of the missile submarines so that the Bzern tasted the molten rain of our burst missiles.
Y: No ma'am, that was not necessary. Even if I received the missile batteries I still couldn't fire first without playing into their narrative of acting as tyrants. As long as they remained outside the intercept zone I could have fulfilled the mission.
2nd Fleet Adm. Ami Iida (I): But that was at the cost of sacrificing our sailors. Our subordinates who trained to PROTECT this great country of ours. There could have been other ways, like pulling back the surface fleet into the strait and letting the subs wait in ambush. Instead you parked your fleet and waited to be attacked like a FOOL!
12th Fleet Grand Admiral Seijurou Kuribayashi (SK): That's enough! Admiral Yamamoto did what he thought was necessary to avoid bloodshed. If you had read Admiral Yamamoto's report you would have realized that the Bzerneleg fleet would have breached the blockade zone immediately and then cry foul the moment our submarines responded to their invasion.
F: Admirals please settle down, we are going off topic. Admiral Yamamoto's conduct is not the issue here. the issue is how do we deal with the Bzerneleg invasion now that they've attacked us first?
Y: With respect to that, I believe we should strike them and whittle down their supply lines. The Bzerneleg reinforcements was foolish enough to push their ships beyond the breaking point.
SK: What do you mean foolish enough to push past the breaking point?
Y: Before the attack my men found that their cruisers were pushing 77 knots when we detected them 100 miles from the 6th fleet. As you know most vessels have an average max cruising speed of 30-40 knots per hour to sustain long range missions. However, the Bzerneleg reinforcements rushed to join their colleagues as if they didn't want to miss the battle.
SK: I see, so you believe that the surviving reinforcements of theirs have sustained long term damage?
Y: Indeed, any sea captain worth his or her salt knows the capabilities of their vessel and do not actively tax her unless necessary.
I: But that doesn't explain what we're going to do about the invaders.
K: On the contrary it does. We have the home advantage. Mibu Island and the Yamato island chains provide excellent naval bases for our fleets to recuperate and whittle down the enemy fleet. They Bzern have more than likely unknowingly abused their fleet that it only requires a push before they're engines are dead in the water and easy pickings for our fleet.
KY: indeed that may be the case but our casualties will most definitely increase.
F: In any case we should respond to their absurd ultimatum with a firm refusal. Shall we draft a joint refusal or should I tell them that we firmly refuse.
4: We see no issues if you do it your majesty
Y: Actually If I may?
F: What is it?
Y: I would like the privilege of refusing their ultimatum.
F: I understand. Does anyone else oppose Admiral Yamamoto's wish?
K: I think I speak for the majority your majesty but if given the opportunity to condemn the enemy for killing our sailors in an illegal invasion, I would not hesitate to issue a firm condemnation and refusal.
F: Then it is agreed.
Admiral Yamamoto opened comms on an open frequency. "Attention Aggressors. This is the Imperial Frost Navy 6th Fleet Commander, Admiral Yamamoto. You have illegally invaded the sovereign nation of the Frost Empire and sided with a insurgency that wishes to revive old discriminatory practices under the ruse of democracy. You have committed war crimes by obstructing rescue vessels from recovering sailors who have abandoned ship, and by also killing those who abandoned ship. Admiral Bostwick or whomever is responsible for this invasion, I can promise you one thing. We will fight you in the seas. We will fight you in the air. And we will continue to fight until you leave our country. And we will prosecute you as war criminals once this war is over for the crimes committed against the people of the Frost Empire. Justice is on our side War criminals, and we will execute her will. out."
