I also vote for the symbolic continuation of Shang Ye's participation. A retcon can be made after the tournament, if needed (Who knows, maybe he'll be back, y'know?).

To all roleplayers,

It is getting very probable that I may not be able to fulfill my promise of ending this by the 31st of December if I continue the roleplay as-is owing to multiple delays and real-life constraints that prevent the output of rolls. I am almost done with my rolls for the cycling competition on Day 2, however, it has been delayed for a few months already, however I cannot guarantee that the next rolls will be faster, even if I try my best. Long story short, it is too much. I believe it would be better to try to modify the roleplay to bring simplicity and reliability before coming back again with the bidding process for not just the Youth Olympiad, but the Pacifican Olympiad and maybe the Paralympiad.

I would like to introduce a vote for all roleplayers;

Continue as-is, although roleplay immediately ends if not completed by 25 December; or
End immediately with closing ceremony after cycling rolls are complete

Voting ends at the end of this week, 28 November 2021, 10:00am UTC.

I'm for Option 2.
Would round things off and one can still retcon, provided there will be future Olympiads, that the first one simply had less disciplines. That's not a biggie imo ^^
