We, the delegation of Apartment 11F, declare the sovereignty of Apartment 11F as a free nation. Our proud nation declares that it meets the requirements to be classified as such, and humbly requests recognition from all relevant international bodies.

The nation of Apartment 11F unanimously agrees that secession from surrounding nation Shang Ye is not only plausible, but also necessary to preserve the legacy of this historical Apartment and its resident.

Our population of 1 meets the requirement of the presence of an inhabitant(s). Additionally, Apartment 11F boasts one of the highest population density rates in all of Pacifica, with one citizen for every 678 square feet.

Our government currently consists of one person. While this is smaller than most, if not all governments, our outstanding 100% political participation within our nation ensures that no citizen is left without a voice.

Our economy is self-sufficient. Our perfect 0% unemployment rate is a hallmark that ensures that every able-bodied individual is working. Our primary source of income is stock trading in international markets. This ensures our abilities to provide necessities such as food, water, and electricity to our entire population.

An inquiry with a one-person nation involves the concept of society. Merriam-Webster defines society as “a community, nation, or broad grouping of people having common traditions, institutions, and collective activities and interests”. Because a minimum number of persons is not specified, a society of one person who has clear traditions, interests, and activities can and does exist within Apartment 11F.

On the Diplomatic Front, the nation that we have seceded from, The Republic of Shang Ye, has recognized Apartment 11F as its own nation. This is a much more peaceful secession than most and displays a clear sign of diplomatic ability within our nation. Our close ties to Shang Ye are further exemplified as every citizen of Apartment 11F is allowed access to Shang Ye’s medical amenities and civil service.

Apartment 11F also plays a key part in worldwide culture. Though our nation is relatively small in relation to most, the folklore of city life is fully embodied by our proud nation. Folklore, as defined by Dan Ben-Amos, and quoted by Lynne McNeill in the book Folklore Rules, is defined as “artistic communication in small groups”. These “small groups”, or the folk aspect, can be as small as a local book club, or as large as the entire South Pacific. By definition, average middle-class apartment owners classify as a folk group. This underrepresented major group is not always recognized worldwide. Apartment 11F serves as a worldwide voice toward the average urban South Pacific resident, and displays a reverence toward the culture and traditions of modern city life. With a remarkable 100% urbanization rate, Apartment 11F is the ultimate message toward the world.

In closing, Apartment 11F is a small, orderly nation, with clear diplomatic and military strengths and a self-sufficient economy, as well as adequate amenities.

Under the direction of the Foreign and Imperial Secretary Charles Boulangerie and Chancellor of the Exchequer, the Foreign and Imperial Office alongside HM Treasury has compiled a report on global economics, alongside military expenditure. The intention of this report is to identify opportunities for increased trade and economic growth, and to identify key partners and obstacles to further development.
Data collected from the major economic nations within the Pacifica region confirmed that the combined economy of the Izaakian Empire ranks number 2 in Pacifica (as seen in figure 1) behind the Empire of Ela with a much larger population. As of November 2020 the Izaakian Empire has a GDP of $6.25 Trillion, with potential for further growth, especially considering the instability Izaakia has experienced in 2020 and the relative underdevelopment of the La Montagne and Brödmark regions.
Over 2021 the Izaakian Empire should aim to reduce trade barriers with key economic powers. Of the top 5 economic powers, Ela and Ryccia present the greatest obstacles to free trade. Recent instability in Besern against Absolutan is also a concern, which could have potential knock on effects within the region. Over 2021 the Izaakian Empire should aim to reduce barriers with key economic partners in the NCU, BU and the potential new economic bloc being initiated by Sedunn. Outside of these major economic blocs bilateral trade agreements with Huawan and Qawertioyu may prove to be significant in coming years.

Another month and fortunately not another migraine. Instead we have received a renewed survey on the most powerful nations in our main canon, Pacifica, conducted and tallied by @Hammerstar.
Other roleplayers were asked to rank other nations than their own in the categories “Most politically influential”, “Most powerful military force”, “Most economically powerful” and “Most soft power”. These are the results.



If your nation is not part of those lists or you think, you are ranked way too low, do not worry. It has no actual effect on our roleplay. This is just the current point of view roleplayers have of your nation and potentially, if you really start getting highly invested in our canon and making yourself a name, then I am sure, you will end up on this list, even high on that, too. Also you need to remember, this survey is of course influenced by OOC-views too. So if you want your nation to succeed, be a good person OOC too ?.
In our roleplays there is also plenty going on apart from that survey. First of all, our official handbook, also created by Hammer, was expanded a little more, because some of the new players suggested, to make a guide on how to get involved into our canons. We all know the feeling we had as starters, that this entire region might seem pretty big, maybe a little unwelcoming at first, one does not know, where to start, but as you can read here: It’s not as difficult, as you might think.
To finalise Hammer’s engagement this month, he also just started a new roleplay, he invites everyone into. Dive into a deep-sea exploration to find treasure and a crashed airplane. What would you do to solve all the objectives? Do you cooperate with the others or are you acting egocentric? Hammer hopes, he will attract many players with this D&D-based roleplay. The editorial of the TIR crosses their fingers for him.
On another note, the Great War – one of our most important canon events – is on its way to be more inclusive of even more nations than before. Huawan already put its feet into these waters and I heard, North Cordilia will do so too very, very soon!

A less amount of hard facts exist in other threads – discussion threads, which there are multiple existing of. The World Forum condemned Izaakia and the International Court had its first spark of activity going on. All the while the incumbent Speaker plans a Leader’s debate to be held in December (maybe).
Multilateral roleplays can be done outside of the forum too though, e.g. between several like-minded nations, who want to deepen their ties to one another or between two very flowery nations, that retrospectively rp their first meeting. Especially the latter is a very interesting read for sure, as @phoenixofthesun14 and, you guessed it, Hammer just perfected their character roleplay.
If you are still more into war, Sechststurm is still going on and, I’m sure, will not end anytime soon.
At last we want to take a look at the extra canons too.
A1-0 got a little more strict. You have to be somewhat active now! Looking at the recent activity of the canon, I’m sure no one will get erased from the map in the next update.
Talking about updates: Aurora, our fantasy roleplay, is in the phase of finalization. I heard rumours, it will start very, very soon. Maybe even within this year already, so keep your ideas, your drafts, your manuscripts ready, so the new canon will be welcomed with its due respect!
