STATE OF THE ASSEMBLY APRIL 2020
Hello dear legislators, It is the beginning of June! It is election season, as well as the end of a term. As you all know, I am not running for a chair re-election. As much as I loved serving as your Chair of the Assembly, I want to help the region in other ways this next term. This month has seen a whirlwind of activity in the assembly, plenty of debate and votes! We appointed 2 new CRS members (Again, Congratulations Penguin and Jay!!!), passed the Cultural Act and amended it, and an amendment to the Elections Act! And, I finally archived a bunch of old posts that went as far back as 2017, like I said I was going to do way back in February I think. We even started discussion on giving Assembly Commendations!
