With a vote of 6-3-3, the Treaty on the prohibition of nuclear weapons is adopted.

The delegates from GI-Land start applauding and cheering for the high house. Some claps are also audible and visible coming from Snolland, Erinor and Sereva, and parts of other delegations. In a short intervention, Mrs. Meise speaks to the other ambassadors and their staff:
"Thank you, Madame Speaker. I want to thank everyone wholeheartedly, who treated this discussion with its due respect and who voted for and who will sign the treaty. I had the faith, this forum can and will be used for something big and here we are." You can hear, she's holding back some tears of joy to the others in order to appear stronger than her emotions at the moment. "Our country will swiftly ratify the charter and start its work with the PNA to destruct its nuclear arsenal as soon as possible. I hope, that the countries, who will sign this treaty will follow us suit and that many more countries, who today decided against joining our alliance, will do so later down the line, when they see: A world and a diplomacy without the threat of nuclear weapons is possible."

Our nation will sign the treaty and we call for the nations who had nuclear weapons in the past, or nations that never had nuclear weapons to go ahead and sign the treaty, the higher the number of signatories, the higher the pressure on the nations that have nuclear weapons will be. With time, we hope that the nations will make the only sensible choice to reduce their nuclear arsenal until the threat of nuclear annihilation is no more.
