2020 Treasure Island Awards
Well, hello, everyone! I hope 2020 has treated you all well despite the pandemic. We've had an eventful year, both in real life and in roleplay, and to top off 2020, we've decided to put together the Treasure Island Awards, which will hopefully mark the beginning of a new annual tradition in the South Pacific's roleplay community. All roleplay canons in Treasure Island can win awards. Starting today, you will have until 12:00 am UTC on 31 December 2020 to vote on who you believe is worthy of these awards. Cast your vote in the 2020 Treasure Island Awards today! In this awards ceremony, there are seven categories in which roleplayers can be nominated and win:
There are various options available to you when it comes to voting on the Best Roleplay, some of which may not be listed below. In the survey, you will have the option to vote for one of the listed items below or type in another roleplay you believe is worthy of this award.
Best Character In this category, you will decide who is most deserving of the title, Best Character. Many characters in Treasure Island could win this award, but there can only be one. Cast your vote for Best Character Best Roleplayer When it comes to deciding the Best Roleplayer, who was it that stole the show and stood out as the best among us? You decide.
Best Newcomer Every year, the South Pacific is graced with the debut of a newcomer with raw talent in roleplay, so who do you think that person is?
Special Prize Sometimes, it's not just about the in-character performance as it is the meta aspect of roleplay. The Special Prize goes to those who have contributed to roleplay in the South Pacific, both in-character and out-of-character.
Treasure Island Peace Prize
Coolest Seahorse Last, but not least, we have the Coolest Seahorse, whom we enjoy to have as part of this regional roleplay community. Be sure to give this award to whomever you believe is the best person to have in the South Pacific. Cast your vote for Coolest Seahorse

However, because of a five-way tie, we were unable to determine who should win the Treasure Island Peace Prize. As such, we will now hold a second round of voting for the award, lasting until 12 am UTC on 5 January 2021. Because there are five candidates, we will conduct voting preferentially. Press here to cast a vote It's an honor to announce the winner of the Treasure Island Peace Prize, Helene Meise, who won the award after four rounds of instant-runoff voting. For the rest of the results for the 2020 Treasure Island Awards, I encourage you to read the Treasure Island Report. |
