[COMMUNICATION] State of the Assembly January 2021 |
State of the Assembly January 2021
Legislators, We’ve had an eventful first month of 2021, with many discussions taking place. Additionally, I’ve begun the Commission on Laws.
Our first vote this month was the recall of the Minister of Culture, Swifty. It sparked some tough debate but ultimately failed. The second vote was the vote to ratify the Charter of the Partnership for Sovereignty, a Security Council bloc with TRR and XKI, and that passed.
According to the Legislator Committee Act, in order to keep their legislator status, legislators must vote in at least half of the votes in each month (given that there were at least two votes in that month), as well as maintain a nation in the South Pacific. Since there were two votes this month, legislators had to have voted in at least one in order to maintain legislator status. The list of legislators whom the Chair recommends the Legislator Committee to revoke the legislator statuses of is in the table below. If your legislator status has been revoked, you can always reapply. You can also find the legislator roster for this month attached at the bottom of this post.
Welcome to our new or returning legislators this month! (Leg Comm cleared a backlog of applications so we have a big dump of new legislators) @The Confederacy of Badhar | @The David Kingdom | @Westinor | @Wild17 | @Leo03 | @Kandorith | @QuietDad | @Warspite4402 | @Illaois | @Ankene | @Rovere | @'the python' | @Raghav0504 | @Chipmunker | @Concrete Slab | @Zebra Kingdom | @Markp | @James Longstreet | @Alvin the Short and Terrible | @Langburn | @Ovindien | @NIGHTRAY | @Xhoc
