SUNSHINE ACT RELEASE - PART 1 OF 4

23 JUNE 2021

Fellow Legislators,

In accordance with the Sunshine Act, the Cabinet is releasing a large number of private threads and Discord discussions to the public. As these releases have not taken place for some time, they will happen in stages. The first release will be Cabinet Office threads and Discord discussions from October 2019 to February 2020 (the Amerion/Seraph administration). The second release will be the same from February to June 2020 (the Roavin administration), the third will be the same from June to October 2020 (the Nakari/Prarie administration), and the last will be a release of Situation Room threads from that entire time frame up to one thread in December 2020. The next Sunshine Act release will be in August 2021 and contain logs from October 2020 to February 2021 (the Penguin administration). The Cabinet extends its sincere gratitude to Nakari, without whose help this release would not have happened in such a timely fashion upon the new administration taking office.

The Cabinet is releasing the following threads from the Amerion/Seraph administration of October 2019 to February 2020. Two threads are being fully withheld for security reasons and due to ongoing discussions. Two other threads are being redacted in part for the same reasons.

Legislators,

In accordance with the Sunshine Act, The Cabinet is releasing the following threads from the Situation Room between September 2019 and December 2020. Two threads were not released and two threads have been redacted in part for security and diplomatic reasons. The Cabinet further overturned a decision by a previous Cabinet to block the release of one thread and instead opted to partially redact it, as it determined only select messages to carry potential diplomatic risk.
